Position Summary
The Customer Service Analyst is a permanent position, reporting to the Vancouver IT Leader. This position is responsible for providing support with daily technical issues to all users in the Vancouver office, including troubleshooting network, hardware and software problems. The incumbent will ensure the effectiveness and reliability of IT resources and maximize their benefits.

Responsibilities

Providing user support by:
Responding to first line support requests (phone, in person, and e-mail) for computer related issues
Providing advanced level support for Microsoft Office and other desktop applications
Providing computer setup and IT orientation for new employees
Providing training to employees (one-on-one or in large groups)
Participating in the team rotation for providing on-call 24x7 support

Maintaining and managing IT hardware/software by:
Setting up and troubleshooting hardware/software/equipment required for online presentations, teleconferences and videoconferences
Diagnosing hardware issues/failures
Communicating with third party vendors regarding effective and timely solutions, including desktop hardware repair and replacement
Maintaining hardware/software inventory lists
Administering laptop and projector loaner pool
Troubleshooting antivirus, OS and third party patches, remote access and local network connectivity

Administering and managing user accounts through:
Creating new user accounts
Resetting passwords, and reassigning user access rights
Deleting user account/access

Reporting and documentation:
Updating problem tracking tool with user issues and remedies
Providing monthly reports
Providing quarterly report regarding after hours workload/customer requests
Documenting IT Help Desk processes and procedures

IT projects:
Participating as needed as a resource on Vancouver-based IT projects
Providing technical and/or functional support and analysis.

Bike Patrol - Surrey Location

HOURS OF WORK/AVAILABILITY
On Call/Casual (additional hours can be provided at other sites) This position will also be full time during tax season.

Shifts could include: 5:15am-13:15pm, 9am-5pm and 12:30-19:30 (Monday through Friday, only)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
To patrol lots and protect vehicles from break-ins.
Give particular attention to people in parking lots passing through or loitering.

Provide superior customer service to clients and general public.
Maintain ongoing knowledge of and perform all duties with high safety standards.

KEY QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

联邦总理哈珀周四（12日）分别到哈利法克斯和北温海邦（Seaspan）造船厂宣布，联邦政府已经与中的造船公司，就协议细节容达成共识。

哈珀强调，政府在投过程中公平公正，此项总值350亿元的加军造船合约，将为加拿大的造船业带来30年的稳定发展。

联邦政府于2011年10月宣布，总值350亿元的加军造船合约，分由北温和哈利法克斯的两家船厂获得。

总理哈珀周四先到新斯科舍省哈利法克斯市，在艾文造船厂（Irving Shipbuiding Inc.）宣布，艾文船厂会加拿大海军建造21艘战舰，价值250亿元。

哈珀之后飞至卑诗省，下午3时许在北温海邦船厂宣布，海邦船厂获得价值80亿元的造船合约，加军建造7艘非战斗船舰。其中包括造价7.2亿元、全长140米的加拿大海岸防卫队旗舰级破冰船John G. Diefenbaker号。合约中还包括6至8艘小型船只，包括4艘海洋科学船，以及3艘渔业科学船。


据省官员透露，此合约在8年内可以创造4,040个工作职位。造船工程将预计在今年底开工，但海邦船厂表示已开始兴建大约1亿5千万元的造船设备。卑诗省府将拨款4000万元用於训练造船人才与税赋补助。

海邦造船厂行政总裁威特沃思(Jonathan Whitworth)表示，由于船只将先在北温船坞建造，组装完成后才会拖至温哥华岛进行最终测试，预计会有80%的工作职位集中在北温船坞。

造船厂更透露，联邦还在考虑建其他17艘非军事用途的船只，很可能会增加在非军事船只的合约内。该厂将会投资1.6亿元以扩建温哥华及维多利亚的船坞，预计明年底或是2013年初开始动工造船。
