Choose a wish,find a dream
Pick a wishing star
Let your hopes and spirits soar
high and free and far

Reach for the unreachable,
Stretch to touch the sky,
Know no dream you treasure,
Is too far away or high

Believe in the impossible
Then work and try and do
For only those who dare to dream
Can make a dream come true!

This is my favorite poem,which words is so precise and it's meaning is so profound.And I especially love the chinese translation.(宗白华译)

Language point:

a grain of sand, a grain of rice, a grain of gold
We should cherish every grain of rice ,which processed a lot of procedures by farmers ,
workers and merchants and then coming to our bowls.

If you were a grain of gold,you will be shining later or sooner.

flit acrosswhile it is raining,the dragonfly is going to flit across the water lower then usual.

Comparing with the modern poems,I prefer the accient poems.But I choose this one only because I want to use it to encourage myself never give up.I do wish all of us can make our immigration dreams come true.
