As the best neighbor in the north, I feel deeply sad that a local government in the best democrat country would adopt an outdated policy that publicly discriminate against certain races simply because they did something so well. This brings such a wrong message to the young generation that US is not the land of opportunity but a Apartheid state; hard work would be rewarded with humiliation rather than success; and outraged ideology like "Tyranny of the majority" could be acceptable in modern democrat society.
Canada is so closely tied with US, and in a foreseeable future may very well likely be merged together. As a worried parent and Asian, I won't want to see my kids future to be limited by our outside appearance rather than inside ability. In this days, it is already so difficulty to teach the kids to understand the meaning of hard working, responsibility, please do not make it harder.
