TORONTO, Ont. - A 29-year-old Toronto man has been arrested in connected with the death of a 23-year-old woman whose body was found in her apartment near York University.
Brian Dickson has been charged with first-degree murder.
On Wednesday, police released a photo of the victim who was found dead in her residence at 27 Aldwinckle Heights, near York University, Friday morning.
Qian Liu, 23, was from Beijing, and was studying English at York University.
Liu was found naked from the waist down but there were no obvious signs of sexual assault, according to police. Autopsy results failed to show a cause of death.
Investigators have also released photos of items which went missing from her apartment. They are asking the public to report any discarded computer or cell phone which matches or is similar to those shown in the photo.
The public is asked not to touch the items and to call police immediately at 416-808-2222, 416-808-7400, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
