谢谢！刚刚到网上跟踪了一下，上面显示今天刚刚寄出！为什么要那么久，搞不明白？
没有新的公民证书的话，护照只能办两年的。换公民证书比新办一个要快，建议拿到改名证书后马上申请，3个礼拜后就能收到。
换公民证这么快吗？ 我刚给我儿子申请换，上周邮寄的，网站上说处理时间5个月。Passport Canada说估计比这个快，希望早点下来，好换新护照
我儿子的用了2个月办下来的新公民证，有时间把护照办了。

2. Dec 10 received a call from Etat civil asking for a photocopy of Michael’s citizen certificate
3. Dec 11th fax Michael citizen certificate to Lucie Richard at 418-643-2864
4. Dec 14th received a letter of acknowledge of receipt of preliminary analysis which is sent out on Dec 8th.
5. Preliminary analysis (Dec 14)
6. Jan 7th received a call from 418-6431447 asking for birth certificate notary from China
7. Jan 8th show up at etat civil and sent Michael’s notarial birth certificate
8. Jan 12th received a letter Impossibility of inserting a document pertaining to a birth into the Quebec register of civil status
9. Jan 15th received Eligibility to apply for a change of name, plus Insertion of your act of birth in the Quebec register of civil status.
10. Jan 19 sent out publication (108$+52$) la gazette officielle du Québec et 24H
a. Gazette, 1st publication on Feb 6th and the 2en publication is on Feb 13.
11. Application for change name on Feb 22.
12. April 5 received additional doc required “why”
13. April 15 sent the explanation letter
14. June 2, 2016 phoned le directeur de l’etat civil for changing the address. I was told that we will receive the decision made letter mi-July.
15. June 28 received the “DECISION Concernant la demande de changement de nom”

17. July 4th applied for birth certificate
18. July 21st called Etat civil, and was told that we have to wait for 30 days. It will be July 28th.
20. Changing name of Citizenship certificate application March 11, 2017.
