问：父母移民登陆，拿到枫叶卡之前是不是不能去美国？

这个圣诞节想带父母去美国玩儿，但是一想，好像不行啊，拿到枫叶卡之前就是有美签，去了美国，没枫叶卡是不是回不来加拿大啊？

带着移民纸。自己从美国陆地开车回加拿大有移民纸就可以了。如果移民签证还在有效期内也可以。
本来加拿大有效期内的单次签证，即使用过的，去美国后仍然可以凭此回加拿大的。CIC网站上有相关信息。

明确告诉你申请申请旅行文件的条件是：
You can apply for a permanent resident travel document if you:

• are a permanent resident,
• do not have a valid PR card showing your PR status,
• are outside Canada, and
• will return to Canada by airplane, boat, train or bus.

前3条都符合了，但是第四条不符合。不能申请旅行文件，只能理解为不需要旅行文件，这样只能用护照+移民纸了。
