How bad is it to live in Canada?

It’s terrible.
If you get sick or are injured, you have no reason to avoid going to the doctor or hospital because medical care is free.
If you’re unemployed, you can’t drop immediately into homelessness because there is employment insurance to help you manage until you find another job plus free job-finding programs to help you search.
If you’re elderly, you have no reason to set yourself adrift on an ice floe because there is a universal pension plan that Canadians pay into while they’re working, plus top-up amounts for seniors with low incomes.
You have no excuse to buy a AK-47 to protect your home and family because crime rates are low, murder is rare, and anyway the Canadian gun licensing process takes all the fun out of it because you can’t buy it without first learning how to use it safely. No going off half-cocked. Nor can you get rid of your kids through a mass shooting at their school.
In much of Canada the winter is very cold with lots of snow and you could potentially freeze to death except that the majority of Canadians have housing, heat, suitable clothing etc. Even for those unfortunate enough to be homeless, there are additional wintertime shelters in most cities, hampering their ability to die from hypothermia.
Our national police force rarely kills innocent civilians in ordinary traffic stops, so suicide-by-cop is much harder to implement, even for non-white residents.
You never get a chance to angrily and forcefully demand an apology from a Canadian because he or she has already apologized for your rudeness in elbowing them out of the way.
Canadians are addicted to Peace, Order and Good Government making it a really boring place to live, compared to some of the failing states elsewhere in the world where you can go to bed without knowing if you’ll survive until morning.
Society-wide expectations of polite, civil behavior and overall tolerance for diversity ensures Canadians consistently fail to elect a bigoted, rude, a-hole as Prime Minister
