麻烦请教一下，申请姐姐陪妈妈来。在一开始问答题的时候关于陪同人只有一个地方可以选，就是 “ Do you want to submit an application for a family member? ”。这里的family member是不是移民局网站上的解释，即配偶和dependent children？那么姐姐就不是妈妈的family member了。这样的话，姐姐是不是要单独申请？如果单独申请的话，移民官怎么将妈妈和姐姐的申请联系在一起呢？先谢过了。

Family members
An applicant’s closest relatives, in the context of an application to CIC. It is defined as a spouse or common-law partner, dependent children, and their dependent children.
CIC关于dependent child的定义：
Dependent child
A child who depends on their parent for financial and other support. A son or daughter is considered a dependant of their parent when the child is:
- under 19 years old, and does not have a spouse or partner, or
- 19 years old and over, and has depended largely on the parent’s financial support since before the age of 19 because of a physical or mental condition.
因为姐姐早成家了，所以她不是妈妈的dependent child，所以我的理解她不是CIC定义下的family member。
分开申请呗。为什么非要联系在一起。
