不是我记仇呀，我对这段话的理解是：

在VO通知你交材料之前你交任何东西上去都会被退。而不是在交雅思成绩之前交别的材料被退。

最后一句里的this指代的意思应该是you have been asked by the visa office to submit your supporting documentation，而不是指代IELTS result

这样就有雅思的有效日期是在什么时候算截至日期呢？第一步还是第二步？。。

这个问题确实比较难回答,不清楚到底是以那一步来为截止日期, 猜是第二步吧!~ 因为当你交上去时,如果IELTS没过期,这样就不用怕了,如果过期了就有被退的可能.蛮悬的. 所以最好有个估计IELTS成绩在第二阶段不过期.

因为是针对Can I submit the results now?问题来回答的，所以这个副词only是用来限定后面的submit这个动作发生的条件，就是必须基于once....的状况下才可以的。所以这里的only do sth. once .....也就是相当与 must do sth. when/after you have been asked......
如果让你只交IELTS 成绩，该让你 please submit only the IELTS results......了！！！
