(1) Picture

You never saw this before -
All the Chinese cities have put up a picture -
The picture has the same color, the same design,
Even the same character.
Everywhere you go, you see the picture
Smiling and shining, Every time
You think the picture will jump into your brain.
You’ve not seen something like it before.
You don’t think someday your second hometown
Canada will put up such picture,
Though you see the Chinese all enjoy them –
There are smiles…you wonder if you’ve come
From Mars, or maybe you have had a brain transplant -
The new memory roots your blood.

2）Visit to the River Wang

Looking forward, no boat, no ferry appears there.
There’s no grave yard, no village nearby.
Only the ginkgo tree stands there.
Only the tablet is breathing and
It is as if I see tears running from the trees, tablet and river.
(3)You smell something
By David Du
When you pass by the citadel hill,
Where the fortress is located
You smell the fragrance of the flowers
But you only see the lawn quivering.
Perhaps you’re smelling the lawn?
You think so …
When you pass by the harbor where the ferry
Parks,
You smell something again,
However, you only see the sea wave-
Maybe the smell comes from the sea?
You wonder
About it…
When you search the corner of the garden
Suddenly you find the answer –
Dandelion!
No matter if you appreciate them -
They never care about your stuffy nose.
4, listening to rain

You come like note rolling on the roof,
Then your thunder surrounds the universe!
After, you become quiet.
I only hear your tears
Ticktack, ticktack…
5, Mosquito

Nobody likes you, as you have a weapon –
Everybody’s features change
Reddish, swollen pustules with itchy head.
If on street, lane, river or woods.
But you don’t care about it –
It’s time for you to show up
And you fly anywhere,
Not caring if your life
Is like thunder or a moan.
Don’t worry if your weapon is a needle or dagger.
Don’t consider the other weapons which
Will kill you.
