client id的格式是 xxxx-xxxx
file number的格式是 Bxxxxxxxxx

在担保阶段应该只有client id，移民阶段才有file number.

client ID 是CIC给你终生唯一的号，file number是每次不同的申请都给你一个，结案了就失效了。

如果你用cilent ID查进度，可以查到你在CIC经历的所有申请（担保）历史。

你可以申请很多个，系统会认为是不同的人在申请ID，查询e-case没问题，但如果你login到CIC的个人account，验证了姓名出生日期后，系统会告诉你有另外重复的ID，你要不要保留这个还是保留那个。
