I think that we need to learn from Canadian women: to be independent, economically and psychologically. To build a family needs mutual effort. When I arrived in Canada, I found there are lots of problems with my hunsband which I didn't notice at all when we were in China. Our effort to build a better life should be acknowledged and respected. But your hunsband seems to be a person without any respect and gratitude in terms of your effort. This can't be resolved since it's a cultural conflict with their conception of what a wife should do for the family. You need to think for yourself and your daughter, then think for him.
