我老公的驾照是2002年11月签发的,正证上的有效期到2008年11月,随正证还有一张副证,上面写着审验至2004年11月有效.本来是应该在2004年11月前做一次年审,这样就会写上审验至2006年11月有效的字样,可深圳后来取消了年审制度,因此2004年的那次年审就没有做.不知到时在加拿大考驾照时还用不用副证?老外会不会认为驾照已经过期了呢?

1. you don't need to show them any card or certificate other than your formal driver license.

2. you are not entited to transfer your Chinese driver license directly to Canadian one.

3. you are still required to pass #7 and #5 examination in Canada to obtain that.

4. the only benefit you get with a 2-year Chinese license is to exempt you from a 1-year probation, which allows you to take the #5 examination immediately after you pass #7.

5. your Chinese driver license needs to be translated into English and notarized in front of a notary public whoever in China or Canada.

我的驾照跟你情况差不多，也是不需要年检了。

我就把整个驾照（带副证）给办公人员看的，没有关系！

我的经验的是，不用副证，仅凭真证做公证即可，交$10.90
