TECHNIQUE: Enhanced brain and nonenhanced IAC protocol. COMPARISON: MRI brain July 7, 2021. FINDINGS: No IAC mass identified bilaterally. A branch of the right anterior inferior cerebellar artery loops around the origin of the right IAC. The inner ears are normal in appearance. In the posterior aspect of the right CP angle, superior to the IAC, there is an 11 x 5 x 8 mm crescentic extra-axial mass which demonstrates avid enhancement. Deep white matter high signal lesions in the left frontal lobe are stable and demonstrate no enhancement. The left sphenoid and bilateral ethmoid sinus disease is similar. The asymmetry of the cavernous sinuses is unaltered. Mild crowding at the foramen magnum from the cerebellar tonsils with slight kinking of the brainstem is stable. The cerebellar tonsils measure 4 mm inferior to the foramen magnum. This is within normal limits. IMPRESSION: Extra-axial CP angle mass. Posterosuperior to the right IAC is stable and demonstrates avid enhancement suggestive of meningioma.
