I’m Ukrainian, and even though I’m not in the military and am not explicitly risking my own life, I don’t mind losing any of my property, my home or anything else I worked so hard to gain over the course of my life, as long as ruzzian invaders are punished. At this point, for Ukrainians losing material possessions or having their houses destroyed is secondary to teaching ruzzians a lesson: you can’t force a free, independent and democratic country into liking you. You can’t tell 40 million people whom to vote for, whom to form unions with, or what values to have.
And if you try, woe betides you!
As for pressuring Zelenskyy, it should be very obvious from what I wrote above that it’s the opposite: if Zelensky gives in to any ruzzian demands (which is extremely unlikely), he will not be able to stay in power for even one day. Public wrath is more fearsome than any missiles.
