一个小时前一个印巴口音的人来敲门说是预约时间明天来我家检查锅炉，我说我是新买的房子，去年七月刚搬进来的时候有个政府的人还是什么人来检查过，说是我家炉子没问题，但是那个人印巴口音比较重，我听力也不是太好，很多具体细节没听明白他说什么，看他挂着eco energy的胸牌，我问他是不是governemnt的人，他说不是，又说一堆没听明白，他就给我说约个明天来我家检查，问了我的名字和电话，然后问我家的炉子是不是新的，我说不知道，你要不进来看看，他不愿意换鞋就没进来，说明天会有人来检查，然后就走了。后来想想越觉得不太对，他不是政府的人我不应该和他预约，然后我下到地下室看看我家的炉子是direct energy的。有谁知道这个eco energy到底要干嘛？是骗子吗？但是我也没签任何东西。会有什么可怕后果吗？

Turns out he was here for 20 telling me about how my water heater is old and should be replaced because of corrosion inside, and how the government rebate works and how I'd save $10 a month after installing a new one. I told him I'd do my research before I commit to anything, and he scoffed at me, as if to say "why do you need to research something so logical?" He had an EcoSmart hat on, and had a badge around his neck, but doesn't have information pamphlets/brochures or business cards. He had to leave me information on a blank piece of paper with an EcoSmart label on it. He showed me how EcoSmart is ranked on BBB as a B+, and compared it to Direct Energy being ranked as an F.

I don't think he's legit either unless someone here can claim otherwise. He wasn't overly pushy or demanding with the sales portion of his pitch, but was very adamant in seeing my Enbridge bills, which I repeatedly refused to show him due to my personal info being on it. I also took down his name and phone number; I can't verify if it's real, but I guess it can't hurt.

沒有法庭文件，任何人，包括警察，未得你許可也不能進入你家，你甚至可以不准他們踏足你的drive way.

明白了，谢谢大家，我老公还在说我太神经了，说我这样小心以后都不要生活了。我说让他电话问问其他认识的人，他坚持说不用，说是小事别人会觉得我们太神经质。可是我觉得明天不让进门是对的，我也不太会和人辩解，明天有人来按门铃我直接不理就是了。

以下幾項事作參考吧.
*不要衹看節省多少錢，要看真正原價是多少錢才對.
*節能電器要看情況需要，比如空調系統，很多人都買所謂節能的，但就因為她省錢，不到最熱幾天都不開冷氣，並衹由黃昏放工後才開，全年次氣其實衹用很少時間，根本省下來的就少之又少.舊的又不太舊就不必換新啦(節能的又更貴),住幾年換屋又是沒有了.
*從其它論壇看得悉，他們在賣熱水爐同時，會叫佢測這檢查那，但就令你以為是免費的，最後花上千元費用.
*留意你的熱水爐是買的還是租的，如果是租的話，有損壞是免費幫你置換一個全新的，一文也無需付(我的就是)
