永久居民国内办理了离婚手续，加拿大政府不承认怎么办

夫妻两人都是持中国护照的永久居民，在国内登机结婚。若干年前回国办理了离婚手续。听说加拿大政府不承认在中国办理的离婚，是这样吗？如果是，难道还要在加拿大再办理一次离婚吗？如果以后想再结婚，怎么取得单身证明？

没听说过加拿大政府不承认在中国办理的离婚，只要有离婚证及公证书，应该哪里都会承认的。

不承认是因为你们没入加拿大籍。 我是在加拿大办的离婚，我国内的婚姻等于自动离了，因为我们离婚的时候都已经入籍。 不再受中国婚姻法制约。 所以，加拿大这边不会管我们在中国国内是否离婚，甚至都不会问这个问题。
