Cruise To Alaska
It was near the end of the summer when I went on my first cruise of my entire life. I was on the cruise for a week and that week might be the best week of my life yet.
I went to 3 cities called Icy Straight(might be a town), Juneau, and Ketchikan. The city were not that big, but still very cool. Icy Straight was one of the smallest city/town I have ever seen. They have to big houses and that is it. The main tourist attraction was the Zip-line. The line came down from the top of the mountain down to the city/town. We thought it would cost around 30$(since the longest roller coaster in the world at Las Vegas cost only 24$ per person), but it cost 120$!!!! Can you believe it! The ride is only 3 minutes long. Even thought there was a lot of people on the Zip line, we did not ride it.
Juneau was smaller than I expected. The population was not that big, but it was still pretty fun. There was a lot of shops, so we bought lots of clothing and souvenirs to remember that place. There really isn't anything to write about Juneau since I barely did anything there. I wished I followed my friend Eric's sister because they got lots of free jewelries and other stuff which would have made me stayed longer in Juneau.
Ketchikan=Downtown Vancouver, there are shops everywhere. This time I did follow Eric's sister and got a lot of cool things like the Moonlight Sapphire and the Blue Topaz. There is also this place that sells stuff that changes colour in the sun. The stores called Del Sol, I bought a shirt that had a totem pole and says Alaska on it. It changes to almost all the colour you can name of in the sun(I am exaggerating). I also bought a pair of flip flops that changes colour to, but not that much.
The cruise... Don't get me started! There is everything. The food you name it!(this time I am not exaggerating!!) There are so many shows and programs to go to. Then again the shops just sucked. They were all jewelries and other stuff that girls would spend their entire cruise staring at bought the men they rely on to buy things would not buy it(LOL just a joke, I meant not to offend rich women(LOL)). The biggest thing I regret the most doing on the cruise ship was trying to find the mysterious shop called Sony Wonder. I first thought it was a Sony shop so I was excited. I kept trying to find it, but no matter what I just keep ending up in the Fortune Casino(the name of the casino). It turns out that Sony Wonder was actually a bar...Spent 20 minutes of my life trying to find a bar...
The overall experience was great and I had a terrific time. Can't wait till I go on another cruise!!
