1)Option A
[CA] Open an RBC Royal Bank CDN$ Banking (Chequing) account
Recommended: RBC Day to Day Banking ($4/mo, $0/mo with MultiProduct Rebate)
1)Option B
[CA] Open an RBC Royal Bank CDN$ Savings account
Recommended: RBC Day to Day Savings ($0/mo)
2)[CA] Open an RBC Royal Bank US Savings account
Recommended: RBC US High Interest eSavings
3)[US] Open an RBC Bank USD checking account
Recommended: Royal Embassy Checking ($2.95/mo)
4)[US] Apply for an RBC Bank Visa Platinum Rewards Credit Card Gives RBC Rewards: 1 point / $1, no annual fee
Pros:
1)Can set up everything from Canada
2)Direct transfer between your [CA] and [US] accounts using online or telephone banking
3)[US] Credit card gives rewards
4)Rebates on fees charged by other banks when using ATMs in the US (up to 2-4/mo upon request)
Cons:
1)If choosing Option A, requires you to meet criteria for MultiProduct Rebate in order to minimize fees
2)If choosing Option B, requires you to have some other [CA] chequing account for chequing needs
3)$2.95/mo fee for the [US] USD checking account as there is no MultiProduct Rebate like the [CA] counterparts
4)Limited CC choices (just one)
5)RBC tends to be the worst in terms of fees, so make sure your banking style doesn’t ding you every way you turn
相对起来,我更推荐TD那边的类似服务,不过RBC也works fine.
