我在蒙特利尔，还有一个月就学完管道焊接，打算去卡尔加里或埃德蒙顿。但哪个城市更好找到焊接工作呢？焊接协会是不是中介机构。在焊接协会好找工作吗。你有焊接协会的网址吗？谢谢。新年快乐。

My nephew is in Edmonton, so I am also considering Edmonton as my first option for my landing - I am still on the wait list. Would it be possible if I find a full time job, and my son (8 years old) can attend his school? I recall having read somewhere that a child under 10 is not allowed to be staying alone at home? Or otherwise is it easy to find a half day job so that I can take care of my son after school?

My English is fine. My current working language is English, and I am working outside of China. However my experience is more related to relief work and I guess it's kind of useless in Canada? I think my profile can fit well with social worker, but I am not so interested. Wish to move to the private sector. Would it be more advisable for me to get a degree from the university on relevant areas, or I can try with my current experience if language is not a problem? My current employer is quite big and global, but in public sector.

如果直接登录Edmonton，医疗卡生效日期是从你抵达温哥华机场的那一刻开始的。假设你在埃德蒙顿的第一天就病了，看病数日，花钱上万，过了一周之后去办理医疗卡，你会发现刚刚花掉的上万块钱是可以报销的。

在温哥华停留时间不限制吧?枫叶卡,工卡也需在同一地办理吗?适合投资移民吗?医疗卡办理需时间?谢谢老杨

老杨到处给爱德蒙顿市做广告。一些移民看到老杨的帖子信息，就搬到爱德蒙顿市。不过，爱德蒙顿的个别商人还欺侮老杨。没有老杨招人进爱城，那个别商人还有挣钱的机会吗？
