Job Description :

1. Are you a high performing Systems Engineer ready to support the SQL Product Unit's IT Infrastructure. Would you like to contribute to an IT team responsible for ensuring maximum availability of the Data Center systems? Do you have the hands on experience in debugging SQL Server, IIS, AD, DHCP and other Microsoft related systems? If so, then this is the position for you! Provides first tier level support to the Business Unit for critical infrastructure systems that run 24/7.
Responsible for the creation and execution of procedures to accomplish business goals.
- MCSE qualification required.
- 5 plus years work related experience as a Systems Engineer/Analyst.
- Proven experience in supporting large enterprise solutions utilizing Microsoft technologies.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft products and networking required.
- Strong problem resolution, decision making and analytical skills required.
- Good customer service skills required.
- May require advanced knowledge of technology in one area and moderate level skills in multiple areas (e.g. SQL, AD, IIS, NLB, Windows Clustering).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field strongly preferred.

2. Our team is responsible for ensuring maximum availability of an enterprise scale IT environment which has deployed a wide variety of technologies.This position requires the ability to assess the environment and make educated design recommendations for File Services.

3. The role is also responsible for handling escalations from the tier 1 team and working closely with the customers to ensure the service is meeting their needs.

4. Candidate should have MCSE w/ 3-5 years solid experience related to delivering IT services.Candidate should be able to run the File Service portion of the BPD IT business end to end including customer engagements and making service design changes.

5. Candidate will have a deep understanding of how to deliver File Share services in an enterprise environment.This includes, but is not limited to:
- Design changes required to increase availability
- Understanding of File servers, servicing file shares, SMB protocol, TCP/IP troubleshooting, RAID types and benefits.
- Performance monitoring and analysis will also be required.

Build Service Engineer

As a Build Service Engineer the person will be responsible for:
- Managing daily builds and sustaining customer released builds
- Managing builds include running, monitoring and troubleshooting our processes as well as driving all build issues to resolution in a timely manner.
- Working with Build Engineering team in designing, developing, debugging, testing, maintaining and improving the over Build systems.
- Cross-group interaction with developers, testers, program managers, and other groups or individuals which may have conflicting goals, schedules and demands.
- Perform mission critical tasks to support the development life cycle, including creating new branches, adding users and groups, assigning permissions to code lines, and performing backups of the source control system. Also configuration management and source control operations.
- Provide support to Engineering teams for various projects
- Prioritize multiple tasks based on project, urgency, etc.
- Coordinate tasks across multiple sites per project.
- Team-based development experience and familiarity with source code tools/process, bug tracking, code reviews, and other common development activities.
- Manages own work to meet schedule and communicates regularly on progress.
- Documentation of known issues associated with the Build processes.
- Investigating and diagnosing problems affecting build

Technical/Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Minimum of 3 years build experience (value add if it is RAZZLE, or CoreXT)
- Must fully understand entire build process including compiling and linking
- Expert with scripting specifically command/batch (can be Powershell, Batch, Perl or VBScript)
- Source Depot experience
- Must understand “Source Control System”
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
