My job was advertised as permanant too but the probationary period was 6 months & was told I could go if they think I don't fit into the job without advanced notice. Then I always arrived 15 mins earlier than other workers Always behaved & do better than others. After the probation I do the same as others as a normal employee. We hv v goid pension and insurance package. That's why they kept looking for good people... lots was asked to leave or be a contractor before me because of less diligence. I did my best to do my due diligence and that was why I got my permanent job at a bank. Lots others are still contractors after 6months probation because we need people to work.
