回复: 请帮忙比较X5及ML350
I would go with X5, but a E70 2013 x5 if there is still stock.
Reasons:
1. F15 2014 X5 is too new, price is so firm. You will get only 1000 discount at this time. If you lease or finance, the rate sucks.
2. The F chassis isn't very good. I personally switched from E70 to F07 (535GT) then back to E70. Lots of F10 5 series owners had problem with the car doesn't go straight.
3. Currently F15 is still using the same engine as E70. I personally believe BMW will have new engine in a year or two. Just like when E90 first out, it had a E46 engine of 3.0L NA (2006 330 325), then in 2007, E9X start to have 3.0 turbo engine(335); The 07-09 E70 X5 all had 3.0 NA engine, and then new turbo engine from 2010.
4. Buying the first year of a new model is risky. BMW is going to collect feedback from these first year owners to make improvements. So expect some flaw.
I would go with E70 X5, keep it 3 yrs, and then switch to the F15 after facelift in 2017.
