我在别的论坛看到这句
So technically it's still possible the bill passes both the house and senate before the summer recess hence receiving royal assent but I think it will at least a couple of months before it comes into effect. Take bill c-31 for example it was first tabled on the 16th of February 2012, passed the Senate on the last day June 28th 2012 and came into effect December 15 2012.

据说在加拿大没有一个bill在通过以后立即执行的。最快这个C31也6个月以后才执行

我也注意到网站昨日显示3读，今早又不见了！你9月我10月，都可以期待的！

刚才又在看国会的网站，看到就下星期一6月16日三读了，其实在昨天6月12日国会用了5个小时进行三读辩论。那意思是否星期一只是投票就通过了？我还发现一件很奇怪的事情，昨晚太平洋时间九点多我查到C24的状态是三读，日期是6月12日，但今天又查看，三读状态不见了，还是在report stage中，这意味什么呢？下议院还有5天就放假了，上议院还有8天。放假前能通过吗？？？这大家给点意见，谢谢！ 谁英语能力好的，能否解释一下下面的是什么意思？这应该是6月16日的国会议程安排。但我不明白DEFERRED RECORDED DIVISIONS是什么意思？

现在最核心的问题是，它何时生效？是通过后立即生效呢？还是几个月后生效？
一个思路是：从多个其他法案的生效日期，来大致判断C-24通过后会在何时生效
可是在哪里能够看到某法案何时生效的信息呢？请明白人给个链接什么的，谢谢

下面是关于C-24的生效情况，大家说说它会在何时生效呢？

Coming Into Force

46. (1) Subsection 7(3), section 11, subsections 12(1) and (3), section 13, subsection16(2) and sections 20, 22, 27 and 41 come into force on a day to be fixed by order of the Governor in Council.

(2) Subsections 2(2), (3), (5), (6), (8), (11), (15) and (17) to (19), 3(1), (2), (4) to (6) and (8) and 4(2), (3), (5), (6), (8), (10) and (11), section 6, subsections 7(1) and (2), section 8, subsections 9(1), (2) and (4), section 10, subsection 12(2), sections 14 and 15, subsections 16(1) and (3), sections 17 to 19, 21 and 23, subsections 24(2) to (6) and sections 25, 28 to 30, 42 and 43 come into force on a day to be fixed by order of the Governor in Council that is made not earlier than one day after the day on which an order is made under subsection (1).

(3) Subsection 24(1) and section 26 come into force on a day to be fixed by order of the Governor in Council.

(4) Subsections 2(4), (7), (9), (10), (12), (14) and (16) and 4(1), (4), (7) and (9) are deemed to have come into force on April 17, 2009.

法案本身最后几个条文就是关于生效的，跟大家相关的都是总督定日期。

是的，其实是跟众议院的流程是一样的，一读，二读，委员会报告，三读，最后是御批。时间可快可慢。
