林父在加拿大逗留那么久，没有更好的事情做了？他知道罪犯没钱给他， 他想博得社会同情，社会捐款可以盼望。以上纯属猜测。
1， 事情本身已够悲惨，值得同情，不用博。

I have to disagree with this, and its not a satisfying enough answer for me. Which I suspected the answer wouldnt.
This photo was plastered all over the internet starting May 15, 2012. It was placed into about a 1:25 video and used to advertise and promote his gory video. It was posted to several video sharing websites, including YouTube and Vimeo.
Also, videos were not the only source of promotion using this picture. Magnotta also made blogs featuring the picture. One blog in particular was put up on May 15, 2012, called "One Lunatic, One Icepick Video". Promoting the grizzly video.
That blog was immediately taken off the internet. When I tried checking the internet archives for it, it no longer registered online by as early as June 1, 2012. There were no archives for it yet listed in May 2012. But I do have a copy of the blog in my own personal files

My question is who had the blog removed so fast? Police or did Magnotta take it down? I cant see Magnotta doing it really, as he didnt bother to remove anything else placed online. There is still plenty of incriminating evidence available online.

But not only is there that.... the June 8, 2012 blog is connected to the Alan Williams Google+, which also connected to the Alan Williams YouTube Channel. This is the YouTube channel that was opened up using the Alan Ford email address... this was the YouTube channel that 1 Lunatic, 1 Icepick was uploaded to privately. By private upload, only people with the link could view the video. So that there, is a direct link to the blog.
But with the PROPER Procedures by Police.... specific dates and more could have been narrowed down when the investigation was ongoing.
Blogger / Blogspot, which is one of the blogging services Magnotta used a lot, is connected to Google, just like YouTube is. The Google legal department told the police that they would need legal documentation from them to give them what they needed as far as the promotional videos goes on YouTube. This was mentioned in the Trial too.
Not to mention countless forum posts and such, days before the murder... many of which are dated May 15, 2012 and go into May 16, 2012.

I will continue to call bullshit on this until someone of authority connected to the case elaborates more on why they apparently appeared to not press forward with offering at LEAST to GOOGLE the legal documentation they asked for to be able to provide them with what they needed for their investigation. The "Just Cause" is definitely there. So why didnt they press on?

Was this picture of Magnotta in front of the Casablanca poster with the icepick / screwdriver not found on his computer or in the camera he threw away? It was never mentioned either way in the trial. Was it not retrievable? IFFFFFF it was... they could of at least been able to figure out the DATE it was TAKEN... which I think is just as an important point to prove.
Interestingly enough... on one of Magnottas blogs that showed the picture in question. I was able to determine the name of the picture.... and the name was....

The Craigslist user said he was repeatedly contacted by the person he believes is Magnotta between May 10 and 25 after posting several ads in the “men seeking men” section of the site.
“One of the communications included two pictures of what appeared to be Luka naked on a bed,” the man wrote when contacted by the Citizen. “I deleted them since those pictures were scary. He had big red lips, well-defined slim body with a six-pack.”
The user said the poses in the pictures were “weird” and that the person shown had a very feminine face.
“The first thing I thought when I saw them is, oh, boy, this guy had many cosmetic surgeries in the face. I said I was not interested, and this is when the guy started to threaten me.”
The same person used multiple accounts to send the Craigslist user about 20 different emails, many including photos of attractive young men.
The user deleted all the pictures a week ago because the person was threatening him and claimed to know his home address. He also sent “horrible pictures of an old man with diseases.”
The user said one of the online aliases the person used matched one mentioned in a Craigslist warning posted by another user. That user said he reported the man to Montreal police for criminal harassment, fraud and impersonation after receiving 30 emails, including those with photos of young, good looking men and “obnoxious photos of ugly old men.”
The warning was posted on May 24, the day before the gruesome video believed to depict the killing of a young Asian man in Montreal appeared online. “Garbage like this are mentally unstable and belong (sic) locked up with the rest of the unwanted animals,” it said.
Another Craigslist post on May 6 warned others to “watch out for this guy” and cited the same online alias.
“He has photos of good looking men to send to you,” the post said.
“Unfortunately none of these photos are him. Every day he sits on Craigslist sending out different fake photos to try and lure and entice good-looking young guys.

The information came to light after the judge raised concerns about a Crown question about the man. The name still did not surface during the trial.
"This guy for your information is not from Canada," Leclair told the judge. "As far as I know, he's not in Canada."
The defence lawyer added: "I tried to get a hold of him too. I wanted him as much as the police wanted him."

I apolagise about the confusion. I tried calling you but got your
voicemail. So ill give you a quick update of what happened.
Manny took me from Manhattan. I phoned 911 quickly from
Manhattan and reported he was attempting to kidnap me. They took
the report on saturday the 15th. I dont understand why they didnt take it seriously and start looking for me? Because they did not take it
seriously I was raped again. He took me to Miami and made me drink
a bottle of gatorade and I passed out. I awoke in a nightclub and I
was forced by him to engage in sexual activity with two other people.
Cant the Manhattan ploce be sued because they didnt report me
missing ? I gave my full name and everything. I awoke on the beach
badly burned and very sore in my rectum and I was throwing up non
stop. Also I could hardly walk.
I called 911 and reported this in Miami Beach (south beach police)
they didnt take it seriously either. They became agressive in their
questioning of me and I advised them I need medical treatment for
my rape.
When i arrived to Mount Siani Hospital in Miami, they did tests,
however they noticed I was very groggy. So they asked me why and I
advised them I was drugged and raped. They again didnt take it
seriously and put me in a psychiatric ward for 24 hours, I explained
to them I have no mental illness and im not on any medication and im
not a threat to myself. They still held me.
I filed a complain with the hospital and told them I was victimized now
TWICE because noone belived me that ive been raped and then
ontop of that they threw me in the psych ward. I filed the complaint
today with the Hospital Review.
Now the hospital advised me that I need to go back to the police
station in Miami South Beach and file a complaint formally. I cannot
believe they didnt take me seriously and put me through all this. The
psych ward released me after 24hours and told me I was safe and
nothing was wrong with me...
The police need to take this seriously and stop acting like im making
this up... because of their actions I was raped. I just want to file the
report and come back to Manhattan and get this all over with. I have
more money for you and I think we should go to the police asap.
When you get this my cell is 347-574-XXXXP.S also they didnt believe me about ANY abuse even though I told
them I have photos. This guy is dangerous and if anything happens to
me I hope the cops are held responsible.

Hey Romeo, I hope your good. i just wanted to let you know so
far everythings good. I dont think i should go to the police
confessing anything right now. I am living in New jersey quietly
and I hope it stays that way. If things change or get really bad i
think thats when I should talk to the police. I am focusing on
making money because I know I will need it if there is a trial.
I have to get my life back and im working really hard on it. Im
staying away from dangerous people and i hope I can live as
quiet of a life as possible. I appreciate your help and if anything
comes up then I will call you right away. but for now I think its a
good idea to just focus on working and rebuilding my life. if
there is a trial or im arrested or anything gets worse ill call you

who I am now, however im not worried and im just remaining calm.

Also, since the majority of organizations who are looking for me are

Hi Romeo,
I apolagise about the confusion. I tried calling you but got your
voicemail. So ill give you a quick update of what happened.
Manny took me from Manhattan. I phoned 911 quickly from
Manhattan and reported he was attempting to kidnap me. They took
the report on saturday the 15th. I dont understand why they didnt take it seriously and start looking for me? Because they did not take it
seriously I was raped again. He took me to Miami and made me drink
a bottle of gatorade and I passed out. I awoke in a nightclub and I
was forced by him to engage in sexual activity with two other people.
Cant the Manhattan ploce be sued because they didnt report me
missing ? I gave my full name and everything. I awoke on the beach
badly burned and very sore in my rectum and I was throwing up non
stop. Also I could hardly walk.
I called 911 and reported this in Miami Beach (south beach police)
they didnt take it seriously either. They became agressive in their
questioning of me and I advised them I need medical treatment for
my rape.
When i arrived to Mount Siani Hospital in Miami, they did tests,
however they noticed I was very groggy. So they asked me why and I
advised them I was drugged and raped. They again didnt take it
seriously and put me in a psychiatric ward for 24 hours, I explained
to them I have no mental illness and im not on any medication and im
not a threat to myself. They still held me.
I filed a complain with the hospital and told them I was victimized now
TWICE because noone belived me that ive been raped and then
ontop of that they threw me in the psych ward. I filed the complaint
today with the Hospital Review.
Now the hospital advised me that I need to go back to the police
station in Miami South Beach and file a complaint formally. I cannot
believe they didnt take me seriously and put me through all this. The
psych ward released me after 24hours and told me I was safe and
nothing was wrong with me...
The police need to take this seriously and stop acting like im making
this up... because of their actions I was raped. I just want to file the
report and come back to Manhattan and get this all over with. I have
more money for you and I think we should go to the police asap.
When you get this my cell is 347-574-XXXXP.S also they didnt believe me about ANY abuse even though I told
them I have photos. This guy is dangerous and if anything happens to
me I hope the cops are held responsible.
