我是无意中看了这部全英文的电影Shanghai Calling,也许是想家了吧，想看看电影里那些熟悉的地方：）
这是一部讲述从小在NYC长大的亚洲男生被美国公司派到上海工作，他一句中文都不会讲,当然也听不懂，到了上海以后自然是碰到了很多culture shock，他在上海的工作中碰到了什么困难呢，有没有被上海这座高速发展的城市吸引呢，有没有love story呢，有没有慢慢喜欢上住在这座城市的人们呢。。。
移二代如果长大以后不回中国看看，一点也不了解中国，那么TA就会碰到这位男生一样的问题，我是美国人还是中国人？

最近没什么感兴趣的电影。我在等着5月19日Prometheus的续集，Alien：Covenant上映了。
在Montreal看了The fate of furious 8,简单写一下影评好了。这部飙车炫技电影能拍到8，也真心不容易，人物来来回回就那么几张面孔，而且这些肌肉男长得还很像！我到现在都记得看第一部电影的时候还是学生，上海翻译成《生死时速》，后来慢慢变成《速度与激情》，再后来我也不晓得国内翻成什么了，当中几集也没追。
The furious 8到底是不是最后一部，我觉得看到电影结束时感觉还有9啊！这电影真准备拍超过10以上吗？好像目前还没有哪部电影续集能拍到10的，星球大战从古老的60年代开始拍到现在也不过7！Rogue One不算8，外传而已。
说回F8，电影镜头从古巴哈瓦那开始，路过纽约和俄罗斯，最后回到纽约，他们在各个城市飙车我还以为会有中国的镜头呢，lol。因为在片头我看到其中一家制片商叫China Film，当时就想是不是中美合拍的。电影亮点是音乐（我已经贴在音乐贴里了）+养眼的南美美女（是不是豪车总是要和美女搭配？难道男人最喜欢这两样？！whatever)+luxury car. 当然啦，和前面几部一样，总要有几个超级温馨的家庭镜头，中文铁血柔情是不是这个意思。
电影反面角色居然是一位白人美女，脸好熟，想不起名字，现在突然想起是拍Dior香水J'adore的模特！
这部电影主要就是看看各种飙车，刺激是蛮刺激的，也有不少搞笑的镜头，但没什么细腻的人物心理描写啊剧情反转啊，都不用猜，不用动脑子看的一部电影。
暂时写这些，想到什么再补充。
《普罗米修斯号》的女主角Dr. Shaw在Alien：Covenant的宣传片里终于现身：
这部短片的信息量非常大，完全颠覆了此前影迷们中流行的David利用Shaw作为实验豚鼠，随后把Shaw变成了《异形》中的Alien Queen的理论。在一个影迷的英文网站上，有人写了一篇分析文章写的很好，我转在这里：

What entails is an overview of the time spent on board the stolen Juggernaut ship and what David and Shaw get up to during their journey to paradise. Below are some screenshots from the video along with an analysis of the dialogue and what it all might mean.
Shaw's compassion for David
Shaw has evident compassion for David. Despite the fact that David is an artificial person, Shaw seems to care for him and help him as if he were a real Human being. David remarks in the voice over that no one had ever shown him such compassion - especially Mr. Weyland, or any Human for that matter. This line of dialogue hints to us that David was raised in a very cold environment. This would likely have been the cause for his sarcastic and cold attitude towards the crew of the Prometheus and what sparked the line "Doesn't everyone want their parents dead?" he utters to Shaw in Prometheus as well.
David remarks to Shaw that she has a very kind heart and seems to interact with Shaw showing equal compassion and affection once his head is re-attached. This behavior is completely opposite to his interactions in Prometheus, leading me to believe David has adopted new emotional traits during his time alone with Shaw.
A Boy's Drawing
At one point in the video, we see David holding up a picture he has drawn of Elizabeth Shaw. The expression on David's face is that of a young child, who's proud of a new accomplishment and one derived from genuine affection.
This one small scene really lends some weight to the idea that David has somehow become attached, emotionally to Dr. Shaw. However odd and unrealistic this kind of behavior could be for a synthetic, it does beg the question - is David more than machine?
Putting Shaw to bed
Shaw is last seen entering one of the Engineer cryo pods as David puts her to bed, so to speak. He reassures her he will wake her once they arrive at Paradise, but I'm unsure if he actually does so.
But with regards to the actual act of David putting Shaw to sleep, it is not one that seems malicious. Contrary to what I initially thought David might be like with Shaw, he seems to have a definite care for her well being. Placing her to sleep, David adopted somewhat of a guardian and caretaker role. Once the head went back on, David would have been capable of handling Shaw and if he wanted to, getting rid of her. But he didn't. They developed a bond, a unique, odd, unexpected bond.
David learned their ways
As the video continues, we learn David spent those 10 years studying and researching the ways of the Engineer race. However he does not elaborate, it is insinuated that David discovers something about the Engineers that triggers an almost emotional response - hatred.
Upon arriving on Paradise, David's lighthearted attitude has completely changed.
David is in pain
"Look on my works, ye mighty, And despair."
As David prepares to unleash a full payload of seemingly his own mock Black Goo creations, David's tone is that of aggression, obsession and vengeance. At first you might think anger, but analyzing David's facial expressions in this scene, it is more so pain he is exhibiting. David seems to be in pain. He is not pleased with what he is about to do, nor does he seem to gain any pleasure whatsoever. Nor, does he posses that inquisitive look he so often showed us in Prometheus - even when he infected Holloway with the Black Goo.
David is not experimenting, he is retaliating. For what purpose however we're still unsure, but it is clear his motives are not that of furthering his curiosity with the bio-former, but more so an attempt at what I can only think to be revenge.
What happened to cause David to develop such a deep seeded hatred for the Engineer race? Did something happen to Shaw? Is David acting out of pain for losing Shaw to an Engineer-related incident? Or did David discover something terrible about the Engineers and their relationship with Humanity? It's possible David discovered that these Engineers may not be the angles Shaw originally thought they were, but instead are the devils hell bent on mankind's destruction?
It is possible David has developed a protective attitude towards Shaw and mankind and so, unleashes the bio-weapon upon the Engineers in an attempt to stop their own agenda or to prevent certain prophecies from coming true. This of course raises more questions as to why David would spend time on Paradise formulating new creatures and using the Covenant crew as guinea pigs. Unless, David is not the antagonist and it is instead Walter who possesses the cynical agenda.
The Alien creatures being leftovers of David's initial slaughter, could instead be discovered by Walter and in turn unleashed on the Covenant crew to fulfill MUTHUR's wishes... Of course, this is all pure speculation. But the attitude and mannerisms David exhibited in this video do raise some very serious questions about his motives and his emotional state concerning Shaw, Humanity and the Engineers.

《普罗米修斯号》有个吓人的镜头，我到现在都记得，Dr.Shaw肚子里有外星人baby，这个baby长得很快，然后终于被Dr Shaw杀死了。不是肚子里的Baby死就是Dr Shaw死。我以前影评里就说过，Alien的经典概念就是小外星人都是通过人类来培育的，这对我而言真不是一点点恶心！不过也不妨碍我看这部新片就是了。这部电影系列也已经很多年了，我04年在法国电影院就看到Aliens VS Predator 上映。
温故知新。

1. 《普罗米修斯》可以作为《异形系列1-4》的前传是因为它解答了《异形系列》中的几个疑问
——月牙型飞船和异形从何而来？《异形1》中星际货船 “诺史莫”号收到的信息从何而来？
1）《异形1、2》中出现的月牙型飞船是“远古人”的星际飞船，而“远古人”就是当前地球人类的创造者。
2）《异形1、2》中异形出现的原始星球是“远古人”的一个太空基地，作用可能是军事基地。该基地以及里面的异形应该在《异形2》最后全部被核子武器消灭，所以《异形3》的故事在另一处星球发生。
3）“远古人”在该太空基地研究出一种生物（幼体从早往后分别为蚯蚓状->眼镜蛇状->章鱼状），目的是准备送往地球用来消灭他们创造的地球人类。但在研究过程中该种生物失去控制并攻击了“远古人”，基地中的“远古人”除了一个头目幸存外其余全部丧生，该幸存的头目不得不封闭基地并进入生命舱休眠保命。
2094年，地球人类科学家根据多幅古代壁画上的星图线索驾驶“普罗米修斯”号星际飞船来到该原始星球，希望找到地球人类起源的秘密。最终他们找到了答案并唤醒了基地中幸存的那位“远古人”头目，但这位人类“创造者”并不友善，双方直接发生了战斗。
同时，由于地球人类的到来打破了基地的封闭状态，导致危险生物重新繁殖。幸存的地球人类科学家伊丽莎白·肖为了活命，设计让已进化到章鱼状的危险生物杀死了“远古人”头目。而实际上危险生物的幼体是在“远古人”体内寄生，最后成熟体从宿主腹中破体而出，由于该生物离开宿主后具有宿主的部分外形特征，最终该危险生物进外为能靠双腿站立的人身形体，也就是后来的“异形”。在《普罗米修斯》影片最后诞生的这第一只人身形体的异形应该就是《异形2》中出现的异形皇后，《异形1、2》中出现的异形蛋都是它产下的，也就是都是它的后代。
4）最后，“普罗米修斯”号唯一幸存者伊丽莎白·肖在人造人的帮助下，驾驶一艘“远古人”的星际飞船离开该原始星球，并留下了该星球有危险“异形”生物的警告信息。若干年后，《异形1》中星际货船 “诺史莫”号所在的星际商业公司截获了伊丽莎白·肖留下的信息，但公司高层想到的却是把“异形”抓回地球用于生化武器研究。于是他们掩盖信息真相，将“诺史莫”号派往“异形”所在的原始星球，导致了《异形1》所述故事的发生。
至此，电影《普罗米修斯》完成了与《异形系列》的衔接。衔接上有一点不太好，由于电影拍摄年代不同而造成的技术上的巨大差距，导致《普罗米修斯》中的“普罗米修斯”号飞船以及其它装备看起来明显比“处于后来年代”的《异形1》中的“诺史莫”号先进的多。

我结合了上面英文长篇大论和中文长篇大论，得出了自己的结论：Dr. Shaw不可能成为Alien Queen, David在新电影里也不会唤醒她，说什么到了目的地我会唤醒你的这种话不就是男生哄女生的那种甜言蜜语么，谁信啊：），所以我打赌一定不会唤醒她的！
至于为什么Dr Shaw不可能成为Alien Queen, 因为但凡异形baby都是从人类体内寄生, 然后成熟后破人体而出，人就死了。Dr Shaw最多是计划中培育异形Baby的那个人而已，破人体而出的才是未来的Alien Queen，不是Dr Shaw。

《普罗米修斯号》据说Fox本意要有一种PG-13版的，但因为电影评级审查的时候，审查人员坚持去掉那个把怪物从Shaw肚子里取出的片段，而制片方认为如果去掉整个片段影片故事的完整性会受很大影响，所以最终放弃了PG-13级版本，只有R级的了。
而Alien：Covenant一开始就定位在R级，再加上现在的电脑特技远超当年的实物模型怪物，估计恐怖程度将超过当年的《异形》1-4， 会远超《普罗米修斯号》。
目前期待这部影片的影迷基本分为两类：
一类属于怪物迷。这些人抱怨《普罗米修斯号》里的怪物恐怖得不过瘾，他们也特别反感《普罗米修斯》里Dr. Shaw这个形象，认为她显得太柔弱了，不如《异形》1-2里的被成为好莱坞第一女英雄的Ripley那么强大。Dr.Shaw被David变成Xenomorph Queen的理论就是这类影迷发明的。

我本人属于第二类的观众，希望Covennant不要让我失望太多。
这篇文章的作者，大概就是传说中的网站雇佣的“水军”、“五毛”，靠写帖子挣钱吃饭的职业网络写手。
因为本身并不是影迷也未必喜欢这类电影，只是为了写帖子挣钱吃饭，所以对影片中许多基本故事情节都没搞清，网上download个视频大致看了一遍就开始写上了。
在《异形》1和2中，Ripley的飞船降落的星球是LV-426。而在《普罗米休斯号》里Dr.Shaw降落的星球，是LV-233。因为不是同一个星球，所以根本不存在《普罗米修斯号》里的外星人的飞船与《异形》1/2里的是同一个飞船的可能性。只能说从外观上看，两艘飞船都属于Engineer的飞船。
英文网站上有些影迷认为LV-426可能是Covenant降落的星球。但我觉得这种可能性不大，除非影片编导由于疏忽在剧情里出了重大漏洞。因为Covenant降落的星球，是Engineer的星球，Covennant乘员下船后不用带氧气面罩，空气是可以直接呼吸的。而LV-426，在《异形1》里，因为空气不能呼吸人类出舱是要带面罩的；而在《异形2》里，因为Ripley的雇主Weyland Corporation对该星球进行了terraforming，空气才可以呼吸不用带面罩。所以如果Covennant降落的是LV-426，就与《异形1》里的情节对不上了。
另外Fox已经表示从《普罗米修斯号》开始的异形前传系列，可能要拍上3-4部影片，所以LV-426可能不会在Covenant里出现，而在其后的影片里才会揭开其神秘面纱。

我只能勉强属于第二类影迷，肯定不是第一类怪物迷。我觉得我更适合看PG-13级别的AVP系列，但好奇心让我还是会在新电影上映的第一周去看这部恐怖片。
我来说说胆小的我当年是如何被劝说看AVP的。我之前说04年法国电影院上映AVP，但事实上我没进电影院看，lol. 我和我同学们说，这种影片太吓人了，我怕我的小心脏受不了，所以你们几个进这个Salle看AVP，我进你们隔壁的Salle看法国电影：）这是第一次抗拒异形系列。后来学校放假，留学生聚会，有个北方男生是异形迷，和我们几个说，我电脑里有各个版本的异形，我们一起看，我说就不能看其他不恐怖的电影啊，他们几个说，假期啊，放松一下嘛，再说大家一起看你怕什么！无奈之下我只好和几个同学一起看。。。。。。
《普罗米修斯号》好像没有在上海上映，我是看的Cable，所以我得出结论是前面若干年里异形电影也都没有通过广电总局的审核，公开在中国电影院里上映，不晓得是不是这样。
所以从《普罗米修斯号》开始会有好几部前传系列，这样也好让人有个期待，Hunger Games结束了，Divergent系列也不拍最后一部了，我对其他电影系列没什么太大的期待，除了我希望看The passenger 2, 如果有2的话。
说到The passenger, 我觉得Alien： Convenant有一点点和大表姐的电影像，就是说一艘偌大的飞船上只有一男一女两个人独自在外太空进行漫漫的长途飞行，区别呢，在于大表姐和男主都是人类，所以才需要互相陪伴，David是机器人，他不需要人类的陪伴，所以他可以让Dr Shaw安然睡在睡眠仓。这两部电影还有一个很大的区别，The Passenger里，当他们感情升华以后，想亲密的时候很安全。反观异形系列，每次男生女生亲密的时候，危险的信号就来了，因为异形要蠢蠢欲动了（普罗米修斯号不就是这样的吗）。。。
我想我还是更喜欢不那么恐怖的浪漫多一点点的The passengers. 可惜不恐怖光浪漫的科幻电影拍不了续集。。。
这个台湾腔很重的影评人对于新片预告也有自己的独特分析，挺搞笑的，像上面那个老外一样，以后电影产业干脆多一种类别的职业好了--Movie trailer analyste.
昨天下班后去看了电影The circle, Emma Watson和Tom Hanks主演，这部电影我在纽约和蒙特利尔都看到了电影海报。
电影镜头一开始是Emma独自在湖上划皮划艇，看到电影后面我意识到这个电影镜头在后来是故事关键的转折点。。。先不剧透了。。。
怎么说呢，我把这部电影归为单纯的科技悬疑片，不是科幻片，没有幻，只有一堆的问号，这些问号在电影的最后都解释清楚了。
Emma无意中被朋友推荐进入一家知名的IT公司The Circle 工作，薪水也比原来的customer service 高了不少：）Emma的爸爸患病，需要4000美金的治疗费，所以年纪轻轻的Emma非常珍惜这份来之不易的工作，每天都努力提高自己的performance. The circle就像许多大公司一样，常常会给员工提供培训，Tom Hanks作为CEO也常常上台演讲，和大家解释公司开发的先进技术，无处不在的Camera。Emma一开始对这些高科技也是似懂非懂，持怀疑态度，直到一次危险的经历之后，她彻底赞同公司一直广泛推进的高科技，无处不在的camera。她“勇敢”的戴上了一个camera，24小时除了睡觉和洗澡之外，她的工作和个人生活都在社交网络上进行直播，就这样她慢慢变成了公司的红人。这是电影里的第一次反转，一个稚嫩的喜欢划皮划艇的美国女孩在职场上不断的得到promotion。
无处不在的Camera真的好吗？个人隐私因此受到了多少影响？为何Emma青梅竹马的好朋友不再和Emma交朋友？新科技和社交网络的负面作用会不会kill person? 慢慢的，电影有了第二次反转。。。
这部电影共有三次反转，结尾时是第三次反转，Emma对The Circle推行的高科技最后是怎样的一种态度？

最后说一句，我感觉这部电影中的TheCircle非常像Facebook.个人感觉。
从目前看过伦敦首映的观众的评论来看，Fox最终还是迎合了第一类影迷的胃口，在Aline：Covenant里抛弃了回答《普罗米修斯》里Dr Shaw的问题：The created us, then they tried to kill us. They changed their mind. I deserve to know why. 在影片里，Dr. Shaw也死了，很可能是开始不久就死了。
所以，AC最终还是回到了《异形1》纯恐怖片的路子上，变成了Xenomorph today, Xenomorph tomorrow, Xenomorph ferver了
