请问fido的10刀4G为啥要不介意麻烦呢

我就用fido每月10刀4GB数据计划，签两年再给一个华为的免费平板。因为这个SIM卡给的手机号码打接电话都是一分钟一刀，非常贵，所以下载fongo网络电话免费注册一个当地电话号码，这个比较适合电话和短信不多的人使用，短信需要付钱，电话是免费的，但如果一直是打开Wi-Fi的话手机会自动接上Wi-Fi，家里的还好，如果是公共Wi-Fi就很弱，需要关闭Wi-Fi启用LTE来接电话，所以适合电话短信很少的人使用，灰常的便宜，fongo的通话质量也很好

我用的freedom，感觉很好啊，都有信号，50一个月13g流量很爽啊，我喜欢一边开车一边听小说，无论在温哥华本拿比都没有信号不好啊。我电话很少，手机主要上网玩游戏，如果流量低于5g手机就没有用。

1. $10/4G is only for existing Fido postpaid (phone) customers, options: a) join Fido postpaid, + sign up data plan, + cancel postpaid; OR b) run around to look for Fido reseller who is willing to sign u up for data plan only (not supposed to but few Fido resellers were able and willing, hard to find)

2. Many people use this data plan for years, may be up to 6/7 years, got up to 3 free tablets. Fido renewed data plans in past, but no guarantee that Fido will continue to renew (most people don't have Fido postpaid)

3. As 家园小千 explained, most people use this data plan with VOIP phone (Fongo/Textnow/etc). As VOIP phone is not 100% reliable, it is suggested to keep a mobile plan also, such as 7-11 Speakout ($25/yr).

4. Most people put data SIM into mobile phones. Some would buy dual SIM phone to have phone SIM in the same phone.

前面我说过数据计划+VOIP电话(Fongo) 不是100％可靠，建议增加手机计划。 这是针对认为电话很重要的人 。 。 。 例如在找工作，等等

如果主要是家人电话，那我还是建议Fido的 $10/4Gb数据计划，原因：每2年免费获得一台平板，可顶替需要购买的手机。可以添加:
a) "Wireless Home Phone" - Koodo ($5x13月), Virgin, Fido, Rogers, etc. 常规价格〜$20，频繁促销$5/月(一年)。将手机SIM放在一个特殊的盒子中，再添加您自己的普通电话，几乎变成了家庭座机。https://www.koodomobile.com/phones/wireless-home-phone ，或
b) 网路 VOIP家庭电话 - 使用家用网络和一个特殊的盒子，再添加您自己的普通电话，几乎变成了家庭座机。 e.g. VOIP.MS (US$0.85/月+ $0.005或$.009/分钟), fongo.com ($4.95/月), CIK ~$10/月, etc.

家人电话当然很重要，但万一错过来电 (只有 ~0.0?% 机会)，仍然可以安排。不像失去工作机会。 如果您考虑使用Fido数据计划，可以现在下载 Fongo/Textnow/etc. APP，用家用WIFI测试通话质量。(我不记得这些APP是否可以接收银行短信验证码)
