William Logan

I sat the test yesterday and the majority of questions are the same as those that have been posted previously. (see sivans post) The questions i had'nt seen in this thread, or in the online tests were:

1. Which countries fought in the Plains of Abraham, 1759
2. Who were Chief Teumsch, Major Isaac Brock ?
3. Which of the following was got burnt down and rebuilt in 1922? (Cant remember the choices given, but the correct answer is Parliament)
4. There was a question about inventors (cant remember which but i know the "Inventors Question"was NOT on the following famous inventors William Penfield, Bombardier or Alexander Graham Bell. It was one of the others in the Discover Can. guide, cant remember which ones
5. How many steps does it take for a bill to become a law?
6. Why do we pledge allegiance to the Queen?

As Vague as this is, i hope it helps a little.

Bonne chance!

1. Who is the head of the Government?
2. What are the Atlantic Provinces?
3. Why is fur trade important to Canada?
4. Why is remembrance day important to Canadians?
5. What are the three oceans that frontier Canada?
6. Who can run for elections in Canada?
7. What is a voter information card?
8. What are the provinces that formed the confederation in 1867?
9. Why is Canada Day (Dominion Day) important?
10. Who appoints the Cabinet minister?
11. What are the branches of the Government?
12. What are the responsibilities of Provincial/Territorial Government? [out of the 4 choices, "Education and Health" was listed and the other 3 choices were combination of Federal, Provincial, Municipal Government responsibilities]
13. What are the rights Canadians have? [Note: In the sample tests, I have not come across this question with the answer choices given in the CIC test paper . Out of the 4 choices, one option listed all the freedoms defined in "Magna Carta (1215)" and the other 3 choices seemed in correct (*to me) as they were mix of rights, responsibilities and things like don't pay taxes etc. I hope I chose the right one!]
14. What is the meaning of Canadian Motto in Latin "A Mari Usque Ad Mare"? [From Sea to Sea]
15. Who was the first Prime Minister of Canada?
16. What are the official languages of Canada and are also important symbols of identity?
17. Whom do we vote for in Federal elections?
18. How is a bill passed? ["Once the bill passes through House of Commons and Senate and receives a royal assent"]
19. What is presumption of innocence means?
20. What should the Government do when it fails vote of confidence?

补充:

2.what is general voting list?

3.The house of commons recognized in 2006 that quebecios form a nation within a united canada

2 3 level of fedral goverment 6 有自己的TIME ZONE的地区

2,有own time zone的?
4,queena
6,Peace town

9,Acadians
Black loyalists
12,canada

1. William Logan
5. 308
6. victoria cross
Good luck~!!!!

4.habeas corpus
5.Acadians
6.black loyalist
