记得这幅画是回中国前晚上加班赶出来的。A few days later .. I will travel overseas for a couple of weeks (maybe more).. so just want to share a few commissioned paintings I finished recently... hope you guys like them,cheers my dear FB friends!

Facebook /tweeter /和西人交流,不说中文

WeChat (微信）和国内的亲朋好友交流，只说中文。

这个网站20年前刚移民前后经常来，现在很少来，来了主要是看看标题，大陆新移民们在想什么，在干什么。。。哈哈，小熊这个网站铁打的帐篷流水的兵。

不过在各类社交网站风起云涌移民信息资讯蓬勃发展的时代，它的日趋没落是必然的，从曾经几千人到目前几百人的日浏览量，可以管中窥豹，略见一班。

做企业，老板的眼界胸襟价值观决定最后的成败。

做网站也一样。

A new commissioned dog painting almost done! Ordered by one of my FB friends, Terri Blackwood Jackson .she and her husband adopted Georgia last spring and Terri told me Georgia had led a hard sad life,( being treated badly by previous owners) the couple only had her for 4 months before she died , the couple loved her adored her and missed her, so they asked me to paint her a couple days ago just before Christmas.

Another commissioned dog painting almost done, the dog's name is Angus, recently passed away...the owner, Nicole Ward Quick, one of my FB friends, thought a beautiful painting would be a good way to commemorate him.before paint, I asked Nicole about her favorite colors....she told me her favorite colors are all shades of yellow and blue.
When Nicole saw the picture I just sent to her through FB messenger, her comments are: thank you Daniel, you did a wonderful job of capturing my Angus's sweet, gentle soul! ...

A quick tiny commissioned portrait painting just done, ordered by one of my FB friends,Vanessa Hayes McLoughlin,she asked me to paint her late husband with their son..her husband died when their son only a few weeks old...when she saw this painting she told me: thank you so much Daniel, it made me cry, tears, many tears with joy...

This painting is inspired by a true story.
When a 10 days old cub was abandoned by her mother in Africa, she was only 20lbs. she was rescued, and was fed with a mixture of cream, milk, eggs and vitamins by a volunteer young man from Germany.Over the following month, an extraordinary bond between the lion and her rescuer developed, which has only grown stronger as she has matured (over 300 lbs now).
She will not allow any strangers to approach, growling fiercely if anyone else dares to wander close to her enclosure. However, when the young man opens her enclosure each morning and she always jumps into his arms for a cuddle.
I was so touched by the story…my inner voice pushed me to use these colors and lines to visualize this story with my soul wishes and emotional engagement on this 16inx20in canvas…( sold)

回国的感受挺特别。
国内目前的各种硬件设施一点也不比国外差。什么支付宝啦，微信支付啦。方便快捷， 打的方式也是网上随叫随到。再加上高铁，四通八达。想去哪去哪。
但是。
国外习惯了自由自在，人人平等遵重隐私，享受清新空气碧水蓝天习惯了的人，回国会有很多的不习惯：

中国国内人心很浮躁。
穷人绞尽脑汁想办法赚钱赚不到。
富人绞尽脑汁想守住金钱守不住。

回去那一个月，去见过去的同学同事，富的万贯家财的，穷的一贫如洗的都有。
可就是没有几个真开心活着的。太多的担忧，太多的压力。。真正叫在红尘中摸爬滚打，身不由己。

很多富人现在才意识到习近平是啥人，（十几年前他还是王储的时候，我就看清他的思路知道他追求的是什么了，不信，翻翻以前我发的一些帖子，哈哈）担心自好不容易积累的财富，想出来，可没有那么简单啦， 个个西方移民国家正在收紧移民政策，特别是针对大陆富人，有些朋友真急了。。

以前国内有个国企房地产单位，我和里面的人都很熟，目前各个千万富豪，纷纷送子女出来留学镀金。他们也希望子女们能争气，也给自己留条后路。
其中有个朋友的小孩各方面都很优秀，他一直说等高中毕业就把他送出来读书，可这次回去在一起吃饭，他说孩子没出去，目前在厦大读。
我感觉好奇，就问为什么不像单位其他人一样送孩子出来？
他疑惑地跟我说：所有送出去的孩子毕业后都回来了，是不是美国加拿大特别难找工作？
我噗嗤乐了，问：这就是你不送他出去的理由？
他回答：早晚都得回来，浪费那时间精力做啥？他要想出去，我随时可以带他去周游世界。。

国内另外一个富婆，是我老婆的朋友，刚刚把女儿送到美国芝加哥大学读书读本科，据说她和她女儿都有很多问题要问我这个在美国读过大学的人，主要是专业的选择，如何以后能在美国找到工作留下来等等问题。为此还搞了一个微信小群。
通过聊天知道她女儿智商情商都很高，但是我注意到一点，也担心的一点：那孩子已经被共军彻底洗脑了。。以后要想在在美国混，观念以及个人价值体系要经历伤筋动骨的痛苦的转变。
否则，就像其他富家孩子一样，潇洒走一回，然后打道回府，重新投入祖国母亲以及亲生父母的怀抱。

今天阴雨，早上醒来，来吃港式早茶。
六月份回温哥华后一直就没有洗牙。
之前在美国，半年洗一次。
以前常去温哥华的牙医诊所是2011年左右去洗的。后来移居美国后，再也没去过。今早打电话过去，他们竟然还有我的记录，不过因为很久没去了，他们要把我当新病人看待。进行口腔X-ray,照相以及常规检查，然后洗牙。我问个人分摊费用，他们跟我要了医保policy号码，一听是50000， 对方立即说：医疗保健系统的员工吧？你不用担心，费用100%医保报销。

昨晚打电话回大陆问一个超大民企的老总，听说你们的护照都要上缴了？
他回答：目前没有，只有国企。
我说：我估计事情照这样发展下去，闹到最后，你们所有共产党员都要上缴。
他哈哈一笑：很有可能。
