整理了一些临行前准备的资料，方便到那里以后及时办理：
跟车有关的事情办理顺序：
1. 购买汽车保险, from TD

需要准备recall clearance letter 以及美国出口的那套车的文件
以下是我准备参照的：
YEAR 2007 购车体会
在美国海关，把三天前交的文件原件要回来。过加拿大海关时告诉他们你要进口你开的车，然后进屋子申报。 查询当前申报时间。 申报时他们会要你填进口车的form 1，交gst和exercise fee。你不需要ontario的 临时牌照。这些手续就包括了在加拿大临时开车的资格。注意当加拿大海关官员问你要不要交riv fee时要说不交，你要上网去交。否则你就要等两个星期才能上牌照。
回来后，先上网到 RIV 把钱交了，将 Form 1 的扫描件发到 info@riv.ca， Recall Clearance Letter 的扫描件发到 recall@riv.ca，为了保险，同时fax Form 1 和Recall Clearance Letter，fax号记不得了，打电话问 RIV.
把 Form 1 和 Recall Clearance Letter 发给 RIV 两天后，打电话问RIV, 如果RIV 通过了，会发个E-MAIL “FEDERAL INSPECTION FORM” (FORM2) 给你，打印这个FORM 2.
打印出FORM2并带上FORM1 (原件:WHITE & YELLOW COPIES)和CLEARANCE RECALL LETTER(原件)到CANADIAN TIRE做检查. 新车检查不用交任何钱。不用Emission test, 不用Safety check。只检查是否符合加拿大安全规范，如Daytime Running Light，法语标签等。检查完毕，canadiantire在一些form上盖章。Canadian tire还会把一些文件用传真发到riv办公室，不过这和我们没关系。
3. 汽车上魁省牌照
拿着所有文件去交通部的任何一个office去上牌照，交QST。
可以同时办理的其他重要事情：
1、办理“医疗卡”，魁省也叫“太阳卡”

You cannot register online. To obtain a registration form, you must call the Régie orvisit an office of the Régie during office hours. The Régie cannot send you this form before you arrive in Québec
Step 1: Fill out the registration form
First, obtain the required form from the Régie de l'assurance maladie.
Next, check the information appearing on the form and make corrections if necessary. Be sure to sign the form.
You cannot register online. To obtain a registration form, you must call the Régie orvisit an office of the Régie during office hours. The Régie cannot send you this form before you arrive in Québec.
Step 2: Attach the required proof-of-identity documents
You must attach certain documents to your registration form. After duplicating them, the Régie will return any original documents to you within 30 days, but you won't receive them at the same time as your Health Insurance Card.
Instead of an original document, you may submit a certified true copy from the issuing organization.
Canadian citizens
Canadian citizens must attach to their form the original of one of the following documents:
their Birth Certificate;
their Certificate of Canadian Citizenship;
their Canadian passport;
their Copy of an Act of Birth.
Permanent residents
Permanent residents must attach to their form the original of:
their Canadian immigration document attesting to their permanent resident status;
their Québec selection certificate, in most cases.
Indians recognized by the Canadian Department of Indian and Northern Affairs
Indians born outside Canada must attach to their form the original of their Indian status certificate issued by the Canadian Department of Indian and Northern Affairs, and the original of their Birth Certificate.
Indians born in Canada must attach to their form one of the documents that Canadian citizens have to submit.
Foreign nationals
Foreign nationals must attach to their form the originals of their Canadian and Québec immigration documents.
Step 3: Attach proof of residence in Québec
In addition to the required proof-of-identity documents, you must submit a document attesting that you reside in Québec. A single proof of residence can be used for a family, if all family members living at the same address register simultaneously.
Acceptable Proof of Residence
Provide the Régie with one of the following documents:
photocopies of all pages of your residential lease;
photocopies of all pages of your deed of purchase of residential property;
an employer's attestation confirming that you hold employment in Québec for longer than six months (the attestation must have been issued not more than 45 days prior to the date the Régie receives your application for registration);
an attestation of enrolment in a study program offered at a Québec educational institution;
a solemn affirmation (see form) by the landlord of the dwelling in which you live, or by the tenant who signed the lease, attesting that you live at the address you have provided;
a copy of a bill or of an account statement from a telephone, electricity or cable company showing your name and address, or a copy of a school or municipal tax bill showing the same information, together with your solemn affirmation that you live at the address indicated on the document.
Step 4: Have your photo taken
To obtain a Health Insurance Card, you must in most cases provide your signature and a photo meeting specifications established by the government. The section onphoto and signature explains who must have their photo taken and what the procedure is.
Your photo may be taken at certain pharmacies or by a photographer. A fee is charged for this service.
Photo specifications:
colour photo taken in the past six months (dated on the back with a date stamp);
against a white background;
front view, from the shoulders up (head uncovered);
43 mm x 54 mm (1 11/16 inches x 2 1/8 inches).
Next, you may go to an authentication point (generally a CLSC) or to an office of the Régie
Authentication point
If you go to an authentication point, you must take with you:
the form obtained from the Régie and the required documents, if the form specifies any;
two acceptable pieces of ID;
your photo.

无线岛(ile sans fil)是个非营利组织 它和蒙城各处提供wifi的咖啡馆 饭店 图书馆联系 说服这些有wifi的地点给蒙城居民免费提供网络接入 只要在无线岛注册 那么只需要一个统一的账号即可在遍布蒙城的数百个接入点连上网络 这些地点可以在无线岛网站上查询到

只要你的无线网卡检测到的信号中带有ile sans fil字样 那么就可以用你注册的账号连入wifi
推荐一个接入地点是atwater地铁边上的atwater图书馆 可以带着自己的电脑在阅览室用ile sans fil的账号连上图书馆提供的wifi 图书馆对面的小广场也有信号
另外在Berri-UQAM边上的大图书馆(Grand Bibliotheque)等地方也可以免费上网 大图书馆需要你提供身份证件及一张银行与你来往的信件才能办卡 有卡才能在那上网 刚登陆的头几天无法马上申请到借书卡 而且这里图书馆的电脑多是法文电脑 中国人使用起来不太方便
还有一个选项是amazon出的第三代kindle 189元这款带全球范围内免费的3G接入 这款九月才能上市 这个免费3G是供读者在amazon上下载电子书用的 但到时极可能有高手能破解它来读Gmail看网页等等
3.驾照（新移民三年内都可选择母语笔试）
中国驾照落地后可驾驶三个月，新移民应尽快通过考试领取加国驾照。持有两年以上中国驾照者可提前办理驾照公证（需蒙城当地公证师出具，公证费约25元），有助立即路试。
