2008 Nissan Rogue wins its category at annual Car of the Year awards
MISSISSAUGA, ON, Dec. 4 /CNW/ - The 2008 Nissan Rogue was named winner of
the SUV/CUV (under $35k) category today by the Automobile Journalists
Association of Canada (AJAC).
The Nissan Rogue and six other vehicles competed to earn the honour at
the 2008 Car of the Year TestFest, an event during which automotive
journalists from across the country compare eligible vehicles back-to-back in
real-world settings. The Nissan Rogue competed against the Ford Escape Hybrid,
Jeep Patriot, Jeep Liberty, Mitsubishi Outlander, Saturn Outlook and Saturn
Vue Greenline in this category.
"The 2008 Nissan Rogue is a true leader in its class," said Ian Forsyth,
Director, Corporate and Product Planning, Nissan Canada Inc. "The Rogue
clearly made an impression on the judges SUV/CUV category, with its
aggressive, performance-oriented styling, powerful engine, responsive handling
and driver-focused cockpit."
The 2008 Nissan Rogue is available in two models, Rogue S and Rogue SL,
each with a standard 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, Nissan's advanced Xtronic
CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and
4-wheel disc brakes with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). Rogue also offers a
long list of standard safety features, including front seat-mounted
side-impact supplemental air bags and roof-mounted curtain supplemental air
bags for front and rear outboard occupants.
Rogue's refined interior includes a driver-oriented cockpit, available
leather-appointed seating surfaces and a fold-flat front passenger's seat.
Utility is enhanced by numerous convenient storage and ultra-functionality
features, including an oversized partitioned glove box, a large dual-level
center console and an innovative foldable rear cargo organizer. Available
technology features include Intelligent Key, Bluetooth(R) Hands-Free Phone
System, XM(R) Satellite Radio (subscription required, sold separately) and a
powerful Bose(R)-developed audio system with AUX input and MP3 playback.
Highlights of Rogue's exterior include aggressive, performance-oriented
exterior that redefines the small utility with sleek, masculine styling with
dynamically arched forms and powerful rear shoulder lines. Other available
features are a roof rail system with detachable cross bars (accessory), power
sliding glass moonroof and heated cloth seats.
Car of the Year TestFest selects the best vehicles in various classes by
testing them on public roads, a track and off-road (where relevant), as well
as through static evaluation. Testing is done by teams and by individuals, and
votes are tabulated by the firm KPMG.
Category winners were announced at a press conference in Toronto today,
while the overall Canadian Car and Truck of the Year winners will be named in
February at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto.

美加确实有区别，但不是表面上5000这么简单。
以SL FWD 版本为例，美加差价将近7000，美国购车没有1500现金返还，以及1000政府返还，加上Rogue是made in Japan，进口还要付额外6.1%的duty，实际上差价只有3000出头了。考虑到美国买必须付全额现金，加拿大可以以1.9%的利率贷款以及改装、保修问题，这3000块值不值得？
此外，将来若卖车，美国来的车子比加拿大本土的相应贬值更多，这个因素也值得考虑

本人刚买了rogue一个月，开了1800KM。总体感觉很值，驾驶的感觉很棒，变速切换平稳，发动机噪音低，配置齐备。我选的是4驱premium，目前平均油耗10.4L/100KM。我觉得Nissan车是性价比很好的，在全新的rogue上体现的很明显。
不足：过坑时比较硬，风大时有些不稳，另外驾驶时前左侧盲点有点大，须仔细。
希望更多的车友驾驭rogue，也希望在这里多讨论经验！！

不知道和HONDA的CR-V比较那个更合算点？我去honda看，他们给的deal也是蛮不错的。我准备下周去试驾，然后决定买那个！NISSAN现在已经没有什么优惠了，HONDA好像销售策略比较好些。

Edmond上的评价不错。好过crv和outlander,比rav 4稍差。性价比很不错。

还价的幅度很小！估计也就是在1500刀以内。如果圣诞节的时候，还有个promotion什么的，现在只能等下一个推广了。加拿大买车没有太多的选择。
