Hello sir,
I am currently working in usa and planning to land in canada in Jan
2005.
i will remain in canada for one week and come back to usa for
continuation of my work.
my question is that after becoming Canadian Permenant Resident and
then just live there for a week and coming back to usa do i have to
pay income tax in canada also?

i am working in usa in US based company and filing tax in usa.

thanks

Not until you move to Canada - for now you will be a non-resident for tax purposes.
