请问移民考雅思可以考A类吗

请问移民可以考A类IELTS吗？

我的中介说是可以的，而且A类的可以过来后直接用来申请学校。你可以问问IELTS考试中心

A类和G类的侧重点是不同的，G类更侧重应用内容。
我记得移民是只能考G类的。
建议咨询使馆。

it must be for GENERAL purpose. it is required clearly on the form.

on this webpage, it says:


Note: IELTS has two options for the reading and writing tests. There is a “General Training” and an “Academic” option. You must take the “General Training” option.


i know that Academic and General tests use the same listening and speaking materials. Academic test is more difficult than General test. so if you have Academic test result only and you can prove your reading and writing skills. then you don't have to take General test.

you'r quite right. However, i heard someone submitted the ACADEMIC ielts result and it funtions as well.
Maybe it's just a rumor and thus unbelievable, but i think it's rather a valued information for LU ZHU.

visa officers make mistakes too sometimes. & you can not rely on that. so you'd better submit whatever they require.

who knows whether it's just a mistake? everything is unreliable before it is tested by yourself. As the old man said: SHI BU MU JIAN ER WEN, ER YI DUAN QI YOU QU, KE HU?
anyway, it costs much to take another IELTS. Compared with the lost, it's worth trying.
