哦，同情楼主的遭遇。

但是再试试不同的途径，也许有办法解决也说不定。

多多向不同的机构咨询，有很多时候他们给的信息不一样。

人性化不是不坚持原则.你搞错了概念.
移民纸是相当重要的一份文件,你自己搞丢了却来怪加拿大政府,还扣一个不够人性化的大帽子.
事实上没有移民纸不追查你的来龙去脉已经是对你相当的信任了,好心不得好报.

这次来加也是象很多人一样，牺牲了很多，下了很大的决心才能成行。辞掉国内令人羡慕的工作，背负着父母的不理解，只身带着孩子踏上这边土地。原以为阿省鼓励新移民学习的政策正适合自己的短期计划-学好英语将来去大学回炉。昨天去学校完成分级测试后被告知因不能提供移民纸无法申请funding。因为以前短登过，之后又有很多的变故，所以这张移民纸已不在我手上。虽然向政府申请了true copy,但是被告知要8个月才能拿到，而联邦政府给我开的证明（confirmation of permanent residence）省政府根本就不接受,完全废纸一张，这也真是不能理喻！目前一片茫然，真不知道这下面的八个月应该如何安排。没有funding,专业背景又无法找到工作，都说新移民苦，我这个教训可是最大的了！原来加拿大政府也不是真得那么人性化，真正需要他帮助的人就因为一个程序上问题而被拒之门外。请大家引以为戒！

同情楼主！楼主本可以更小心一些，别让移民纸丢失，那可是比护照比枫叶卡更重要的原始凭证啊，我当年登陆时啥都不懂，就是牢记同志们的教诲，千万不能把这张小破纸弄丢了啊！
不过我还从来没听说申请FUNDING 要移民纸哦！

you can go to caglary citizen and immigrate office, if you show you ID card, and aske they give you a paper which can show you are immigrant and you are permanent resident, maybe it can help you get your funding.
also you can use this paper to get other welfare.
Just try it.

什么叫好心？我手上有联邦政府给我的证明。再说我堂堂正正的移民身份，有什么担心的？！你完全是中国政府洗脑出来得混球，在民主国家什么叫原则，什么叫人性化，你自己先去搞搞清楚吧！每个人都有不同的情况，事事无常，水灾地震的人连家都可能没有，更何况一份文件！！看着别人的不幸还要加上一把火和油，真的是一点德行都没有！

比较保险的办法是做个true copy,把原件锁到保险箱里，平时用copy就行了。CIBC好像就可以做charge 1$,我没做过听一个roommate说的，他做了。

Thanks! The confirmation of permanent residence i mentioned above actually is the paper signed by official of immigration office. The reason they gave me this paper is i've told them i needed landing paper to apply funding and other welfare like housing program. But so far according to the information provided by funding advisor, this paper cannot be accepted by the Alberta Student Funding Authority. I will try to resort other means but i do not have much expectation on the outcome.

你也懂得什么叫做民主国家?
每一个步骤都有法可依有法必依,没有人能够凌驾于其上,这叫做民主.也就是普遍适用,不因具体人具体事情而变更.
每一个步骤都是很严格的,都是按部就班.出一张移民纸需要都长的时间?出一张证明需要多长的时间?什么是证明?证明你现在持有哪些证件而已,你以为它能帮你证明你的得到移民纸的整个过程.真个白痴.
你持有哪些证件,并不说明你就是拥有移民纸,否则就没有非法入境的说法了.
算了.说了半天你恐怕也不明白.

说不明白你就不要在别人的帖子了乱晃了！你说的有法必依我怎么听着都觉得很熟悉，好像是中国宪法里的吧！我觉得和你也说不明白

No, they donot. The funding advisor refused to give me any other information except asked me to wait for the true copy. The confirmation of permanent residence from immigration office is a document printed out from their computer system with exactly the same information as those on landing paper.

这就奇怪了。你没有问他为什么不可以说吗？不行回去找移民局问问，为什么学校不承认他们给出的证明。
