Lisa Wu
Reporter
Ms. Lisa Jin Wu immigrated to Canada in 1998 and found her new home in Vancouver. After obtaining a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Diploma in Business Management and Immigration, she worked as a registered Immigration Consultant and managed a China-headquartered, Canadian investment company for several years.
Lisa possessed some TV hosting experience in China before immigrated to Canada, and she never forgot her passion for the broadcasting industry. She decided to pursue her journalism career as a News Announcer and Talk Show Host with Fairchild Radio FM96.1 in 2004. Two years later in 2006, Wu was hired as a Reporter/Anchor at channel m (now OMNI BC).
Currently, Lisa hosts a Health Segment every Thursday, and a Sports and Entertainment segment every Friday during OMNI News, Mandarin Edition.

Carol Wang
Reporter/Anchor
Carol joined OMNI BC (previously channel m) in 2003 after working as the news reporter and anchor with Talentvision TV in Vancouver. However, Carol started her career not as a broadcaster, but as a university teacher in China after receiving her Masters Degree in Business Administration in 1999. Her broadcasting career began after participating in a TV Host competition held by China Central Television which has culminated in her being a well established reporter and anchor with OMNI BC.
In addition to her duties as a reporter and anchor for OMNI News Mandarin Edition, she was recently the host for OMNI BC’s special coverage of the 2009 Chinese New Year Parade in both Mandarin & English. She also co-hosted OMNI BC’s Special Town Hall to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.

Bowen Zhang
Anchor
Bowen Zhang joined OMNI BC (previously Channel M) News Team in 2004 as Mandarin News anchor and reporter. Zhang joined Channel M from Macau Satellite TV where he was a news anchor and producer. Previous to his time in Macau, he also worked as a news anchor in China for Zhuhai TV in Guangdong and Beijing Radio. He has won three national awards for broadcasting and specialized news programs in China. Bowen is very much involved in the community and has been host to many events held by S.U.C.C.E.S.S, Asian Society for the Intervention of AIDS just to name a few. He has been a recipient of the City of Vancouver award for his involvement in the community from 2005-2009. Bowen is a graduate from the Communication University of China (previously Beijing Broadcasting Institute) and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in Broadcasting, Journalism and Mass Communications. In 2001, he took some time off to study and travel the United States and UK. With a natural passion for news, he has interviewed many politicians and has anchored many important live events during his career. Since 2004, Bowen has been contributing to OMNI BC Mandarin News and continues to deliver the best quality news.
