We are looking to hire 12 Reseller Support Specialists for our client Smart Technologies. The interview with the client will be on Monday July 18th from 9am-12pm. Since this is an urgent requirement appreciate your help immediately to send me resume before Friday, so that we can inform the candidates about the interview venue and procedures.

When prescreening candidates, it is important to find out how they dealt with customer inquiries (phone, email, in person - phone and email are critical), if they have experience cold calling, and assessing their overall communication over the phone.

Start Date: Immediately, pending references
Location Calgary, AB


Responsibilities will include the following:
Responding to reseller inquiries and providing information via phone and e-mail
Reviewing and following up on applications for funds or price protection
Tracking sales, equipment and subscriptions
Entering call data and updating the client relationship management (CRM) database
Data conferencing with remote resellers and SMART staff at a distance
Initiating, implementing and administering customized support projects and programs that aid in channel knowledge and sales of SMART products
Establishing strong relationships with SMART’s reseller channel
Arranging new reseller support staff orientation and training
Representing reseller support on cross-functional teams

Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in business or equivalent combination of education and experience
At least one year’s experience in a sales, support or marketing
At least one year’s experience working with a CRM database
Three to five year’s experience working in a call center environment
Proficiency using various computer applications, including Microsoft Office software, e-mail and the Internet
Strong ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience with professional internal and external communications on an international level
Strong analytical and processing skills
Proven ability to follow through on customer issues to ensure they are fully resolved

Major Responsibilities:

Good knowledge of the Customer Care function. Up-selling skills are an asset.
Please note: This position offers working the following starting shift:

4 days out of Monday to Friday 11.30am 8pm & every Saturday 8am 4:30pm

Production Engineer/Technologist

This key technologist position will be part of the Production and Facilities group. The successful candidate will work with the operations groups and be responsible for Field Production Surveillance on all wells associated within specifically assigned areas (SCADA). They will also be responsible for initiating and reviewing all swabbing operations done, and make recommendations, and for initiating (programs) and overseeing all Production Operations (Pressure Tests, Spinners, Pumps, etc). This role will create any applicable AFE's required for operations to be done, and review and supply accrual information to Accounting.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with the following skills:

  • Technologist diploma with 3+ years experience; or engineering degree with 1+ years experience
  • Systems experience with PVR, Wellview or equivalent required
  • Operations experience would be an asset
  • Experience in the oil & gas industry is required
  • Strong communication skills verbal and written
  • Strong abilities using Microsoft excel spreadsheets, and Microsoft Office
  • Communication skills are essential, as are organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member

A programming background in such areas as VB, Java, C#
Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues
