WWL Vehicle Services Canada is a recognized leader in automotive warehousing and distribution and we are seeking full-time production workers/drivers who are reliable, energetic, and flexible. These are highly physical jobs, requiring frequent walking, bending, lifting, driving, and other physical activity.

Wages: $23.84 per hour, with excellent wage progression
Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including pension
Shift: Tuesday -- Saturday, 7 a.m. -- 3:30 p.m. (please note this position may also work Sunday -- Thursday shift, 7 a.m. -- 3:30 p.m.)
NOTE: your application will NOT be considered if you do not submit your driver's abstract

Responsibilities:
Opening/closing rail car doors
Raising/lowering rail car decks (tri-levels only)
Installing/removing wheel chocks
Placing/removing rail bridge plates

Requirements:
Valid BC driver's license, minimum Class 5 (no L or N licenses)
Must able to drive both automatic and standard transmissions
Physical requirements: frequent walking, bending, reaching, crouching, balancing and climbing (at heights of 20 feet), pushing, pulling, and lifting (up to 50 lb.); also requires periods in confined spaces with low light
Positive, "can do" attitude
Minimum Grade 12 education
Work is primarily outdoors in all types of weather
Commitment to quality and safe work practices
Able to meet production goals
Able to listen, comprehend and take direction well
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Dependable and punctual - excellent references required

Additional Qualifications will be considered an asset:
Forklift ticket
First Aid ticket -- Level II
Mechanical ability -- adept with basic tools, such as power drill, screwdriver, etc.
Experience in distribution and/or production work

司机加搬运,不是一般的人可以干的.

在加拿大只有开很长的货柜车的司机不自己干装卸工，20几尺的货车都是司机当装卸工。

2010年春天，千名申请者蜂涌 WWL申请，仅有20名获得招聘，友人是其中之一。
可惜只工作了3个月，因种种因素：汽车商在北美设厂出产新车，导致进口汽车大减，加上2011年日本大地震，泰国洪水，影响新车减产，WWL员工罢工行动等等，就一直闲挂在ON CALL LIST，没上班机会，只好另谋高就。
最近电召上班，友人可考虑大了，不怕日晒雨淋，只担心过几个月又被投闲置散。。。

These are unionized positions; successful applicants will be required to join the Teamsters Local Union No. 213.

Wages: $24.31 per hour on Sundays, at least $21.44 per hour Monday - Thursday (rate of pay depends on job assigned); excellent wage progression, including a negotiated wage increase on April 1, 2013
Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including pension
Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
