Personal history一项里，Status in the country,怎么填？

各位老师，在personal history里，有一项status in the country.填写的指导语是if you were outside of your country of nationality,indicate the status in that country.我的理解是如果你在国外，请写出在国外的身份。因为我都在中国学习生活，写的是N/A.也不知理解对吗。填表快成神经病了。求答。
