现在这个季节自己开车从Richmond去whistler，需要换冬季用轮胎吗？

有朋友来玩，想自己开车陪朋友去whislter, 看官网上有写冬季在海天高速会有警察检查是否更换冬季用轮胎，有哪位了解情况吗，因为住Richmond好像不需要换雪胎吧，求教了！

The Sea to Sky highway extends from sea level at Squamish to 2140 feet (653m) at Whistler Village. The temperate at sea level is almost always above freezing with temperatures dropping as you approach Whistler. This means that snow falling on the highway is often at temperatures hovering near freezing, which makes for snow that is very slippery and often has a layer of freezing rain associated with it. Winter driving conditions on the highway between Vancouver and Whistler are frequently treacherous by anyone’s standard!
Winter Tires are the Law!
The RCMP frequently improperly equipped vehicles at Squamish during bad road conditions and turns them back to Vancouver. Depending on the day, this can also be accompanied by a ticket and fine. BC law states that anyone driving on mountain roads during winter driving conditions must have appropriate tires.

大冬天都不需要，我圣诞节去过，四季胎一点问题没有。

不用换雪胎，买一副链子带着，实在路况太差或者被警察检查时装上。

不用换雪胎，买一副链子带着，实在路况太差或者被警察检查时装上。

嗨，我就买了一副链子带着，可惜根本用不上。链子，只有到那些学很深又没有清理的路面才可以用。
