Bboss is currently seeking a Web Programmer to join their team for an immediate opportunity. The chosen candidate is a logical, analytical problem solver who is a team player, highly skilled, creative and loves a challenge.
You must be able to work on your own with minimal supervision, perform well in a small team environment and are willing to take full ownership of your assigned tasks. You will be required to use your knowledge of programming to support the Sales and Marketing Department in the development of interactive marketing tools and dynamic Websites. You will also work with our databases for storing and retrieving information for maintenance and development of the bboss on-line purchase system, employment resources, and various
Responsibilities:
-----Perform coding tasks according to business requirements.
-----Ensure all the codes are tested and well documented.
-----Help end-users on the developed programs, and make improvements when necessary.
-----Develop and maintain bboss product websites, e-commerce and various web projects.
-----Have the ability to access the technical parameters of a project, decide how to approach and execute a new system design.
-----Create and maintain user interface design.
-----Responsible for search technology, indexing and SEO.
-----Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience Required:
-----Mastery of PHP, HTML, CSS and Javascript.
-----1-3 years experience with MySQL.
-----Experience with .NET, Flash, XML/XSLT and Photoshop and other graphic editors is considered an asset.
-----Knowledge of web servers (i.e. Apache & IIS)
-----Experience with Sitecore or web content management systems.
-----Computer programming language skills focused.
-----Ability to learn quickly and master new technologies and applications frameworks.
-----Good written and verbal skills.
-----Highly motivated individual who is able to complete projects quickly. Must be able to work independently and be flexible and willing to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
-----Ability to access the technical parameters of a project and decide how to approach and execute.
-----Must be detail oriented, able to meet deadlines and multi-task.
