FLAG (Foreign Life Assistance Group Ltd.) is a private Toronto-based company dedicated to serving international students pursuing secondary or post-secondary degrees in the GTA. Created by Schulich MBA graduates, FLAG provides academic, life and security consulting services to clients, helping them to quickly adapt to their new life in Canada, introducing the Canadian education system to them and designing their career paths.

Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities may involve one or more of the following:
- Give students suggestions on program/course/school selection and application
- Provide customized orientations for first-year students
- Assist Career Counselors in their research
- Coordinate among students, counselors, partners and FLAG management
We are looking for:
- Students with Canadian high school diploma who are currently pursuing their university degree in one of the following programs: Commerce, Management, Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Environmental Science, Journalism and Life Science;
- Self-driven individuals with approved leadership skills and result-oriented attitude;
- Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion;
- Strong communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Client focused with an ability to resolve conflict constructively.
Great-to-have:
- Being able to speak/write Mandarin a definite asset;
- Experience in academic research or student service appreciated;
- Sufficient knowledge on the resources available for students in a Canadian university environment;
- Experience in customer services and team management appreciated.
