[FONT=verdana, geneva]Our client, a successful and growing Scarborough based distributor is seeking a Buyer / Planning Analyst with 3-5 years related experience in a high inventory turnover environment (over 7000 SKU’s turning over 6-7 times per year). Reporting to the Controller you will work with purchasing and sales on forecasting activities which include quarterly forecasting reviews and day-to-day maintenance of the forecast, develop and analyze ad hoc reporting, complete the necessary purchasing month ends relative to tracking inventory turns, fill rate failures, customs database management, NAFTA certificates, distributing data to customers, etc. The ideal candidate must possess superior communication skills, be extremely detail oriented, very good at analyzing numbers, and be more than proficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, SharePoint and SQL. Knowledgeable with a large frame ERP system such as JD Edwards is very important. Our client would prefer an individual with their CSCMP Certification and experience performing demand forecast planning or inventory management in a medium sized distribution network.[/FONT]
