You have post-secondary education in Business Management, 2 years' experience in the Purchasing field and possess an understanding of Automotive supplier expectations/requirements and the construction/use of a single level vs. multi-level Bill of Material. Literate in Microsoft Office, you have excellent leadership, organizational, communication and supervisory skills. The successful completion of the Purchasing Management of Canada (PMAC) course entitled "Principles of Buying", or APICS Basics of Supply Chain Management, and/or 2 years' practical experience in relate disciplines is required.

Buyer/Planner
You will procure all raw material, assigned MRO items and components from suppliers, process Spot Buy/Purchase orders, and assure that all purchase orders received are immediately reviewed, and procedures strictly observed. Providing direction and development to suppliers, you will ensure that accurate and timely information is provided to both vendors and the Senior Management Team, evaluate cost, delivery, and performance, and ensure ongoing maintenance of the approved supplier list using the Supplier Evaluation Procedure. Monitoring and analyzing vendor costs, lead times, and delivery performance, you will release raw materials, expedite required materials, and meet and maintain minimum inventory levels as set by management.You have post-secondary education in Business Management, 2 years' experience in the Purchasing field and possess an understanding of Automotive supplier expectations/requirements and the construction/use of a single level vs. multi-level Bill of Material.
