网上申请父母探亲普通签证提交的材料是否可以自己翻译？

如题，我正在给父母通过网上申请普通签证，需要提交房产证、结婚证、关系证明等等，这些材料都是中文，是否需要翻译成英文？如果需要，是否可以自己翻译，还是必须要BC省认可的翻译员翻译？

公证处翻译会有章，比较有信任度。但是也有自己翻译的客户。看你自己的选择……

网上规定:
Translation of documents
Any document that is not in English or French must be accompanied by:

the English or French translation; and
an affidavit from the person who completed the translation; and
a certified copy of the original document.
