sorry i can't type chinese right now.
I have seen a lot of discussions about GCMS notes in English BBS but not here, I guess most of you don't know that this can be a very useful source of information so I'd like to share.
the basic instructions can be found here in CIC site:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp
I haven't seen my results yet, but I've seen some of others. Seems it can provide every notes that your VO made about your case, the status of each check-item...anyway there's much more info there than e-cas status and it's definitely worth $5.
some tips:
1, it would normally take 4-6 weeks to get a result;
2, you can request as many times as you want, $5 for each request;
3, only the Canadian resident/citizen can request the information, so please let your sponsor to do the request, but the main applicant should sign a IM 5744 form to agree the information release;
4, Don't do this if you haven't been waiting for a long time, cause if VO hasn't started processing your case, there's not much information in GCMS notes; If you have been waiting for more than 5 months in Phase 2, I strongly recommend you do this;
5, emailing your forms electronically(scan everthing!) will make it faster than paper forms.
I haven't got my result yet, I'll share when I get it.
Update:
You can now submit your request using the ATIP Online Request tool, which is accessible via: https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/ or send your request by mail.
As of May 13, 2013, we will no longer accept ATIP requests submitted by fax or e-mail.
so don't use email request anymore!!
