Liberal Leader, Michael Ignatieff said that the programs such as ‘Vancouver’s Safe Injection Site’ are of great help for the public. He has also announced his plans to expand the program if he gets elected. The Canadian Taxpayers Federation believes that Ignatieff should not get involved in health policy related matters.

The origination operating the Vancouver’s safe injection site claims that people of the society are willing to see similar facilities and programs across the nation. Insite has a dozen injection booths in Vancouver, where addicts get needles and other tools to get their heroin fix under the supervision of a nurse. The program is based on the idea to eliminate the risk of contracting with unsterilized or used needles.

Insite performs all the operations in Vancouver and is the only government funded drug injection centre in the country. The Insite performs invaluable work and save the lives of many people.

Michael Ignatieff says that there should be more taxpayer-funded heroin injection sites across Canada. He believes that Insite reduces the risk associated with these drug injections. He is inspired by Insite’s valuable work and that is why he has decided to support the program.

万人温哥华公开吸大麻：游客惊叹不已

一年一度的温哥华大麻爱好者聚会活动，于4月20日中午至晚上，在市中心的艺术馆广场举行，来自于北美各地的大麻爱好者、大麻器具销售者、大麻种子种植者陆陆续续涌入会场，超过一万人次的大麻党徒参与了这场大麻街头嘉年华，万人吸食大麻的景象，让过路的游客惊叹不已。

温哥华天车（Sky Train）运来了一批又一批的大麻党员，下午2点多钟的格兰维尔天车站人潮涌动，大多数人的目标是艺术馆广场。这场大麻党嘉年华会的参与者，主要是20岁左右的青年人，他们也正是大麻党的主要消费群体。大麻党的青年人以5月2日即将举行的加拿大选为背景，以选票做武器，以图更多的获得自己吸食大麻的权利。
