Typical duties and responsibilities:
Greet, assist and/or direct visitors and the general public
Sign guests and students in and out of the Guest Log
Receive and re-direct calls as appropriate and take adequate messages when required
Respond to public inquirers whenever possible
Provide services to clients and students
Maintain students files
Maintain an adequate inventory of office and kitchen supplies
Receive and sort mail by post or by courier
Provide word-processing, excel-processing, and secretarial support
Maintain a professional image for the reception area
Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings, conferences and conference telephone calls
Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications:
Acquired knowledge in office administration
Computer skills including the ability to use excel and word processing programs at an intermediate proficiency level
Must be able to manage a number of projects at the same time- prioritizing and time management skills are key
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent command of the English language required, mother tone must be Mandarin
Works well in a team environment
Interpersonal skills
Planning and organization skills
Must be flexible for shift
