National child benefit supplement (NCBS):
One-child family: $2,279 a year for one child ($189.91 a month).
Two-child family: $2,279 for the first child plus $2,016 a year for the second child ($357.91 a month).
Three-child family: $2,279 for the first child plus $2,016 for the second child plus $1,918 a year for the third child ($517.75 a month).

Canada child tax benefit (CCTB)
Basic benefit:
The basic benefit is $1,471 ($122.58 a month) for each child under age 18 (the basic benefit is different for residents of Alberta, see the note below).
There is a supplement of $103 ($8.58 a month) for your third and each additional child.
The CRA subtract a benefit reduction from this amount if your family net income is more than $44,701. For a one-child family, the reduction is 2% of the amount of your family net income that is more than $44,701. For families with two or more children, the reduction is 4%.
