万能的家园，请教超级签证的父母是否可以考驾照？

父母持超级签证入境，有2年的时间允许逗留，今天去问ICBC是否可以考驾照，说需要一个IMM1442的什么表格，上网查了很久也没有查到去哪里可以办理这个表格，不知道有大侠指导一下吗？

我爸爸是司机出身，所以没问题，哈哈，而且也很年轻。

半年居住的签证，不可以考驾照，但国内驾照在加拿大翻译后可以开半年。

半年的签证是不能考的，但是他们是2年的签证。可以居住2年的。

对的！我们也查到了，而且也去ICBC问过。关键就是这个IMM1442要怎么取得啊？网上都查不到相关信息。

一般在居住期限到期前三个月，向移民部申请延期，获得批准，你就有了这个IMM1442。ICBC要求文件要有6个月以上的有效时间。

也就是说必须要申请延期才能有这个IMM1442？ 正常逗留的2年内都不能申请这个吗？

理论上是这样，估计有这个规定的时候还没有超级签证，你给ICBC热线打电话问问吧！

听你这么一说我大概知道了。其实就是ICBC规定是半年以上能考驾照，但普通探亲签证都是只能呆半年，所以延期后取得IMM1442就可以考。现在问题应该
是他们的政策没有更新，没有考虑到超签本来就可以呆两年这种情况怎么办。ICBC是不管这个的，他们只认IMM1442，至于怎么取得，就得问移民局了。
