HI,LZ

Thanks

所以我建议你,如果要去的话,选择他们的带coop的program,then you have a better shot to land a permanent job when you graduate.

not sure the employment rate of that school. But from what I heard from my classmates(Ottawa U), most of them, immigrants and internatinal students, would find a job either here in Ottawa or in Toronto. I know an international studnet whose english is quite so-so and GPA is low still managed to find an accounting job.
If possible, go for the accounting program with coop.

it depends on the exact location in hull. if it is in downtown of hull, it is just one brige away from Ottawa U. Even not in downtown, it would not be too bad. I think it should be, by bus, in range of 20 to 30 minuts away from Ottawa U.
I think it is the same thing wiht Carleton. 40 minutes tops from Hull to Carleton. It really depends on where you r in Hull.

Hope it helps

here is just my personal opinion
I don't think the employers here will care about what your major is. What matters is what you can do without too much training. So i think if your English is fairly good and you have an impressive working experience, just go for it. Work on your resuem and interview skills. Going to college would be simply wasting time and money. Too many people I know found a job here without going to school. Or if you want to play it safe, you can try going college while applying for jobs. Spending one or two years in school benefits most to those people 1) career swticher 2) no strong working experience 3) enlish is rather weak and need more time to fit in. So it is your call.

The average monthly expense is around 700 to 800 for one person. And the tuituin can be found on school's website.

:wdb17:You replies are always very helpful.

I have another question, some live in Hull and study/work in the Ottawa Region, do you think it is a good idea? if so, would the English be weakened when living in hull? and is it difficult to find a job (part time or full time) around hull?

Thanks

Commnuting between hull and Ottaw is what many people do everyday here, reaping the benefits from both sides. I don't think your english will be weakened if live in hull. As I mentioned in my earlier post, studying English depends more on your determination. Many people in hull are bilingual or even english-only speakers who live in hull for the sake of low living expenses. So you can always be immersed in english-speaking enviroment if you want and try hard enough.
French is goona help a lot since it is a must for many jos. You might get frustrated. But you can find a job in Ottawa and live in Hull. no problem at all.
i am typing fast and sure there are a lot of typo. sorry
